IIM Sambalpur : Know everything

Call for GD and PI via CAT scores where minimum percentile required for genral category student was 93. After getting desired cot off call for GD/WAT and PI comes where good waightaige provides to both. PI conduct by a selected New IIM of all the students who got call for GD/WAT and PI. After done with PI composite score of candidate gets calculated via CAT score, GD/WAT and PI score, work Ex. score and category scores. Admission process of IIM Sambalpur is very smooth and good amount of time given to the candidate to complete his or her every formality of admission.

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:60 and a faculty runs the class of a subject in every section. The qualification of every faculty is quite good and every faculty have experience of teaching for many years. Teaching style of the teachers is also unique and always ready for help the students. Term exams happens on the accurate time given in the time table and to pass the exams student must have good amount of knowledge what the teacher has taught in the class.

Stipend depends upon the type of the firm and the role it is providing. Usually the startups provide stipend around 20k and the regular firms from 30k to 1 lakhs depend upon the roles. Usually the start ups arriving at great pace for summer placements.

For summer placement student become eligible from 1st term itself and it keeps on running till every student gets placed and the eligibility of the candidate depends on the profile the firm is requiring. Companies from various ondustries visits for placements. So far college have 100% record and due to quality of students the sitution will keep on improve.

The fee structure is 13.02 lakhs p.a for Regular MBA for two years which will be require to pay with some installments on every trimester. Scholarships provides to students from SC, ST and OBC categories. The job schenario is good so far as the institute able to cater good amount of recruiters to the campus so far. Institute has 100% placement record so far and kind of aptitude and skills student posses college able to bring big names in the drive.

Campus life is good. The college is still running from temporary campus but regular campus may be available from 2022 onwards. There are various clubs and commitees in the institute which are doing phenomenal job in every aspect. Clubs and commitees are real strength of the institute which provide guidance in every aspects to students and institute.

Since college runs on temporary campus facilities of the hostel needs some improvement. WiFi is big issue in the campus. Food is good and large amount of variety is there all the three time of the day. For hostel student need to give fee at the registration process.

Due to covid there was only PI round where they ask some behaviour questions and than some subjective questions and for experience they asked related to work. Usually the criteria is GD then PI. For preparation the candidate should be well versed with current affairs and knowledge related to the subjects which the student studied so far.
