IIM Nagpur

I applied for all the IIM's, IIT's, and Top B schools. The admission criteria were based on the CAT exam which takes place every year and after that individual colleges give a call via email for GD / PI / WAT. The application form is available around mid-august and application fees are around 2000 for the General category.

The course curriculum is well balanced and maintained according to the needs of the students. The faculty is to student ratio is good. All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced. Exams take place twice in a term that is midterm and final term The faculties are highly qualified and the teaching method is based on real-life scenarios to learn the current situations of the corporate world.

there are 100% placements of summer internships for students and they internships in almost all the management domains of their choice. More than 100 companies come to offer Summer Internships like Microsoft, IBM, BNY Mellon, Cognizant, etc.

Students are eligible for campus placements after their first year and internship. More than 100 companies visit the campus for final placements and many students get more than one offers. Many prominent companies of different backgrounds come for placements like KPMG, Microsoft, BNY Mellon, IBM, etc. The highest offer is around 32 lacs and the average is around 15 lacs with 100% placements.

The fee structure is rupees 1425000 for two years exclusive of mess charges. There are many scholarships and financial assistance provided by the institute, and also by the state of the student depending on the family background and past academic performance. Also, there are many job opportunities on campus via final placements and summer internships which can be converted into PPO's

As of now, the campus is not fully open for all the students but by the end of this year, all the students of batch 2022 and 2023 will be on the new permanent campus MIHAN. The annual management fest Zero Mile Fest takes place in the month of March and Tech Fest takes place around December. The curriculum books are posted by mail for students attending classes on online mode and given to students on campus attending classes from campus, which are included in the college fees. The classes are well equipped with all the facilities needed to be empowered with all the world-class facilities. Sports and extracurricular activities are taken care of by the club and committees which keep students involved almost every time of the year.

The hostel facility is good and well maintained. Students are provided with separate rooms and they have a bed, study table, chairs, wardrobes, etc. All the students are provided with the basic required facilities to keep everyone engaged. The meal quality is really good especially when the thought of hostel food, the menu comprises of vegetarian and nonvegetarian food both. The hostel is affordable and the mess fee is exclusive of the hostel fee. Registration for a hostel is done on a term basis where the hostel fee for a term is taken before the term starts.

There was a personal interview round after getting shortlisted, due to the online mode of selection no GD was taken. The admission criteria are of the CAT exam where a student has to fulfill all the criteria set by the institute to get shortlisted for different IIM's for a further round of the process. An expression of interest needed to be filled for further process of admission after which an interview round took place. I prepared by myself after taking guidance from my friends who are already in different IIM's and took mock interviews with the coaching institute.
