I have chosen this college because I secured 98 percentile in JEE Main. I was confused between taking core in NITs and taking CSE in IIITs. Among all the IIITs established under PPP mode, I found IIIT Pune the best option for me. Due to the location of Pune which is a major IT hub of India, I think it is the third-largest IT hub of India. Even the course curriculum is well-designed, and there is no partiality between CSE and ECE students during placements. Due to these reasons, I have chosen this college. There are various clubs in this college, like Ecell-iiitp,Q-RioCity, Abhinay, Eclectic, Sports Club and BIT-LEGION, which is the ultimate coding club. Several sports competitions also occur in our college like Eklavya Competition. Course Curriculum : I gave the course curriculum four stars since it is well-organized and highly computer-science oriented. Extra topics such as physics, chemistry, engineering drawing, and mechanics are not required. In the second semester, we learn about data structures and algorithms. Several optional disciplines are offered to help students become industry-ready, such as language and writing skills, innovation, and so on.Academics :Academia is well-divided. There are three tests in one semester: term one, term two, and end sem.Faculties :Faculty members are competent, Faculty members are mostly temporary, and professors must have a PhD as a minimum requirement. Their teaching method is repetitive and may be considerably improved.

I haven't opted for any internship till now but college provides you internship opportunities in 3rd year with good amount of stipend

In comparison to other IIITs and NITs, placements at IIIT Pune have been excellent. Nutanix is offering the largest remuneration package for the 2021 class at 36 LPA. Infrastructure : At KJEI's Trinity College of Engineering, IIIT Pune rents a campus. Both the department building and the hostel provide free Wi-Fi. There was a difficulty with the hostel's Wi-Fi connection from time to time, but it was resolved. I haven't opted hostel till now but as far as heard from seniors its good having 3 mates in 1 room having attached bathroom and mess food is also fine not that bad nor that good also having 2-3 private canteen beside college

No, you just have give JEE-MAIN and after securing good rank your applicable for the admission because this is government college and also the institute of national importance its admission done through entrance exam named JEE-MAIN and counselling name as JOSAA and CSAB
