Remarks

Reason of choosing IIIT, Pune over any other college was mainly because of Pune City. Pune is a IT Hub and it will be easy to find jobs in Pune. Also, IIIT Pune is a newly establish college , which was established in 2016.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion , I found the Course Curriculum of my college more updated than other tier-2 colleges. The faculty count is relatively less than other colleges but for some specific subjects faculty is highly qualified and well educated.

Internships Opportunities

I am currently interning as a deep learning research at Bayes Lab. College also provides with various internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

The placements are quite well. Many companies visit on campus for jobs and internships. The highest placed package is 36LPA for Nutanix Company. Other companies such as Gojex and Reliance Jio also come for campus placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Major proportion of the total fees goes to the tuition fees. An extra development fees is charged from the students. Other than that library , lab and gymkhana fees are also charged separately. Hostel fees is optional , if you want to opt for college provided hostels

Campus Life

The social life is quite well in IIIT Pune. We have all kinds of club from technical to dramatics. One cons for social life here is college being in the outskirts of the city , which makes regular visits to city quite hectic and time consuming

Hostel Facilities

Yes , I had opted for hostel facility. The hostel accommodation is quite nice. The rooms are triple-sharing rooms with washroom attached with each room. A desk, chair and a cupboard is provided to each member of the room

Admission

No , there is no criteria of Discussion, Interview or Written Test for the admission, The admission is done on the basis of cut off rank of JEE-MAINS each year. JOSSA platform is used for registration and admission.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
