Remarks

Best engineering college and university of Odisha according Every perspective , National Government college and facilities are just awesome. Grabbed top 1000 rank in engineering college category across the world .

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

First of all according to my jee main rank I got this branch. It was there in my mind that this branch hadn't too much scopes and opportunities.I thought that I should prefer a second tier college with good branch but I continued with this 1st tier college in metallurgy branch which is not considered as a good branch according to placement package and opportunities in comparison with other branches.Anyhow all the 1st year students have to read same course which is basic and fundamental of all the branch.I tried to change my branch but online semester had some different scenarios rather than offline. So my CG's wouldn't good to change.I continued with my branch. But when I became a sophomore then I got the chance to learn from my branch's professors. All the profesor my branch are very cooperative and excellent in their specialization.Total college's student number is around 7000 and professor number is 365 .In my branch 17 professors are there and all are with doctorate degree and highly educated. In my college metallurgy course is very good although it doesn't provide large and higher placements like IT sector but NITR's placement record is good.Lots of students get the chance to do their MS from reputed Western college's with their research work and teacher's are very cooperative.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students from 5th semester are officially eligible to participate in the internships which is provided by different companies by college. Placement scenarios are good . Except Civil branch all the other branch students get good job in their core sectors.Non core companies also give chance to other core branch students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is worthy according to courses. If you're not eligible to pay for this you may do study loan and institute provides you some assistance in your fee structure and State government also provides scholarships.Almost all the students of my branch getting placed with a avg package of 6 LPA.

Campus Life

4.5

A vibrant club culture is present at my campus. Some clubs heist national and international fames and accolades with their trailblazing efforts and dynamic skilled mind set.Seniors are pretty cooperative , there is not any ragging . And as I spent maximum time online classes ans stayed at home , I can't express campus life.

Hostel Facilities

5

My college didn't yet invite us to visit once to the campus , so I can't express anything regarding campus life. But according to my senior's review hostel with mess fee structure is very nice and Good foods are served to students. Both veg and non veg preferred people get their food irrespective of day.

Admission

No I didn't participate in any group discussion/written test/interview. I just attempted jee main exam and I got this according to my merit. In the josaa counseling we have to participate for the national goverment institutions like IITs, NITs , IIITs and some GFTIs and CFTIs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
