Remarks

Admission to the college was given based on the rank in the JEE. As per the rank, you have to fill the application form and submit it to the college according to which they give a call and for the hostel, you have to fill the form separately. After the admission form and the call, you have to go to the centre given by the college where you have to go for document verification. After the document verification, you can pay the admission fee and take admission to the college. You can avail of admission through different quotas as I applied through the OBC quota. I could not show my OBC certificate at the time of document verification but they were good enough to give me some time to verify it on the next date.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was about how you present yourself and your company/ administration you belong to other people. It was about hospitality. And to be honest I chose it because I was a confused kid and I could do not know what I can do so my friends and seniors advised me about this course and told me the gist of it and I immediately sprang to go for it. Exams were held semester wise for six months and they were quite tough for me as I was from non English background but my friends who were from English background found it easy. It was more about reading and remembering no practical knowledge but mainly theory.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of the college was about 5 Lacs excluding the hostel fees. I did not go to the hostel as they were costly so I shared the room with two other friends of mine in the flat which was available near the college. Fees of the college are high and there are fee hikes whenever the college wants may not be in the tuition fee but some way or the other they manage to do it. Scholarships are given but to only the residents of the native state. Minority scholarships are also meant for only native students.

Campus Life

Life at the college is extraordinary and super enjoyable, there are fests, there are other functions like something or the other always goes on in the college. Magazine of the college is published at the end of each year where different students showcase their talents like art, poem, puzzles, etc. Sports are regularly held in the college. From cricket to volleyball to basketball to badminton every sport is available in the college from indoor to outdoor. It has a pretty big library, I would rate the campus of the college the most rating because this is the thing I liked the most about the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is good . In fourth semester students become eligible for campus placement. The companies visits for our course is the Taj palace, EROS entertainment, crown plaza etc. The offer made to most of the students. The highest package is 18LPA and average pakage is 6LPA. The profiles offered are executive, person in sales, front office etc. Almost 9/10 students get placed in our college. After getting degree I plan to work with a good hotel chain.

My little college

Placement Experience:

In the fifth semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. A lot of companies have visited example IHCL, Oberoi, Hyatt, Hilton, JLL, California Burrito and so on. Every company offered a management training program in their organisation. The highest package offred was of 420000 for a MT program 20 to 30% of students get the placement. To work under a reputated organisation.

After the 5th semester when you clear the exams you are eligible for the campus placement and after that companies come to our college for the recruitment drive and people are getting direct it for that company is which visited were like you can say Devyani international Domino's Leela palace Taj Novotel crown plaza that is under IHG and some other retail companies like the aditya birla, highest package I would say it would be around 10 to 12 lacs or 15 lakh and lowest would be you can say 2-2.5 lkhs students getting placements were around I could say 70% because 30% some didn't want the job and some were not capable for that, my plans like I need a good job and to study further

Placement Experience:

Approx 99% of the students get placements in IHMs. The placement record of IHMs has been tremendous so far. Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Companies like Oberoi, taj , air India , indigo , dominos, JLL , lemon tree, and much more come for recruitment. The average package is round about 12LPA.

This college was not not my first choice I want to go to ihm bangalore but I didn't get it in first counseling and after in second councelling I got ihm lucknow and when I searched about it was good also it was near to my hometown that's why I choose this college, i didn't got rejection from any college. My little college

My first preference was this college only and after this The other preferences include IHM Delhi and IHM Mumbai. Since my first preference was this college IHM Lucknow and as soon as I got the confirmation I continued with it. I choose this college because of the popular celebrity chef Ranveer Brar also studied in this college. Since I see him as my mentor I applied for this college. No I did not get a rejection from other colleges since this was the only one college I applied to. To be eligible for taking admission in this college you first need to clear the NCHMCT JEE exam and after the exam you get a rank and based on the cutoff of different colleges you can apply for it. After that it is basic paper work and you can continue your college from there. My rank was 1400 and I was easily able to apply for the college. Even people with 9000 rank are there in this college woth their SC/ST category....Read More
