Remarks

The colleges I applied to were IIM Nagpur, IIM Kashipur, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Rohtak, IIM Jammu. IIM Nagpur has a better growth rate than other new and baby IIMs. The admission process was very fluent, we had PI then shortlisted for the final admissions.

Course Curriculum Overview

So far the course curriculum and the faculty I have had interaction with have been very good. The course is very well structured to get us the knowledge of all the specializations the college offers going forward. Most of the faculty is FPM from IIM. We have exams every 30 days approx and the difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The average stipend we have is Rs. 60000 and the highest stipend we received is 2 Lakh. The companies we have on campus are BNY Mellon, Microsoft, IBM, V-Guard. Some of them have different criteria to choose from.

Placement Experience

Our institute has 100% placement to date. We have plenty of MNCs visiting our institute. The average package our institute offers is 13 Lakh. The highest package till now is 40 lakh. Students are eligible throughout the second year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is paid to be at the start of each trimester for the admission confirmation. There are some scholarships that the institute provides on the basis of financial aid. College does not provide any sort of stipend.

Campus Life

We have 17 clubs and committees in our institute. Most of the things like the social group of IIM Nagpur is handled by clubs. We have been provided various portals to access textbooks, cases and other data that is required.

Hostel Facilities

We have the new infrastructure and the hostels are single occupancy. The mess is run by the mess committee of the students. Hostel are registered while we register for the trimester. The meal quality is very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 105000 per year

Interview Experience

The institute conducted only personal interviews due to covid situations. The questions that were asked were based on the work experience if any. There were some questions based on the UG specialization. I was also asked about the interest I have.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Perks of cracking IIM, Nagpur

Apart from IIM, Nagpur I applied for NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO and other IIMs too. I converted IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Trichy, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO AIR 14th. I chose IIM, Nagpur over other colleges because the alumni network, faculty and the perk of scholarship. Remaking of Career - IIM Nagpur - 9th Best IIMs out of Best B- Schools in Country

The admission Process at my time was full of options. There was a CAP - Common Admission Process for 11 IIMs which were mostly 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation IIMs apart from IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Amritsar. IIM Nagpur, the B-school at the center of India

Eligibility of the course can be done only through CAT which is handled by the IIMs. Once my CAT scores came out, I applied to the college through CAT on the college's website. Once I cleared the cut-offs specified by the college, I received a mail to fill out the SOP and application.
