The Internship opportunities are ample

Apart from all the colleges we get to apply for through CAT Form I applied for IIM Ranchi HR,IIT KGP HR, DMS IIT Kanpur and few more colleges. The Admission Process started with the filling up of the respective college forms and attaching CAT Score details. In the Colleges the Shortlist for PI was based on the cumulative score of (CAT+Past Academics+ Work Ex+Quota+Gender). The Weightage of each section is mentioned in the website of every institute. The Shortlisted candidates for PI are then scheduled dates and a typical interview lasts for around 15-20 mins based on my experience of 10+ bschool interviews. The Questions range from Acads,Work ex,POR,General Awarness, Hobby. One needs to be thorough about the CV and the present scenarios. Cut Off: 85 Percentile (Gen.) There is no official Sectional Cut off but 75+ percentile across all sections increases the chances of getting a call.

The PGPM Course Offered by IIM Nagpur has the unique feature of being the only Bschool in the Country to be placed in the middle of a SEZ of MIHAN in the middle of 88 companies. The Interaction with Industry experts is very frequent and it gives a whole new perspective of learning The teaching style is fully driven by the case based pedagogy with collaboration of Cases with Harvard University, The students go through initial learning phase to be ready for the curriculam before inductions in the Harvard E-learning portal. The Faculty here are mostly Industry experts or FPM/P.hd from reputed Indian and International Institutes. The present Student to Faculty Ratio is 14:1 (Approx) The Whole Term evaluaton is a continuos process of quizess, assignments,Group Projects,Presentations,Mid Tems and End Terms. The Term Exam Schedule are provided in the beginning of the Term and likely to be case based. The Exams are open book but the whole point is evaluation of application of managerial concepts

The College Provides Ample oppurtunity for the Summer Internships,and Process Starts from the 2 term itself and goes on till February. For the batch of 2020-22 IIM Nagpur achieved 100% placements. Companies offred internship oppurtunities to 208 students ranging in various domains like Sales & Marketing, General management, Operations, Finance, and Analytics. 100+ companies like Microsoft, Nivia Sports, Puma, GE, Phillips, Crompton, V-guard, BNY Mellon, Hindustan petroleum, Jio Crative Labs etc offered internships for 8-10 weeks with stipend ranging from 2.5 lakhs(Highest) to 62K (Average) for the same.

The College Provides Placement Oppurtunities for Summer Internship as well as Final Placements and was the 4th IIM to complete the placement process. For the batch of 2019-21 the college achieved 100% placements where 100+ companies like TATA power,SalesForce,Deloitte,Bain & Co.,TVS,HCL,XIAOMI,DHL,Accenture,LTI,SBI Generel,Indigo etc offered jobs to the students ranging from highest CTC of 19.20LPA and Avg of 13.21 LPA. Consulting emerged as the most sort after domain 31.9% of the Students were offered role in the domain.

The Course Fee for PGPM at IIM Nagpur is 13.75 Lakhs for 2 years including Hostel fees. The Mess fees are paid separately based on the choice of food but generally ranges between 6-7K per month. There are ample oppurtunities of scholarships on the campus. The kind of Scholarships offered ranges from Central,State govt to Corporates. Students can apply for based on Merit, Merit cum need,Quota and Physical disability. The College Provides a variety of Paid Live Project opputunities from the first term itself for the students.

IIM Nagpur is a completely Student-driven institute. The Students take care of all the major activities of the college like Placements, Media and PR, Industry Interaction etc. We have 20 Student-driven clubs, committees and SIGs. IIM Nagpur is moving to its new campus at MIHAN in November,the state of the art facilty there provides the students with all kinds of equipment and facilities realted to sports and extracurricular. The management focuses on mental well-being and conducts various sessions on mental well-being by dictors and yoga gurus. The online and offline library facility offers an ocean of material (Books, Journals, Articles,cases etc). We celebrate every festival on campus and there is student activites going on all across the year. The Annual fest is ZMF and Technomanagement fest is Tangerine Trails both tentatively organized in teh month of February.

IIM Nagpur is a Fully Residential program and hostel accomodation is mandatory. Every Student is provided single occupancy rooms. The Rooms are provided with a Bed,Cot,Almirah,Study Table,Chair and attached bath. The best part is there is a dedicated students committee for the infrastructure of the college and they take care of all the needs of accommodation. There is also a dedicated students mess committee that decides and monitors the food provided to the students, all are provided with breakfast,lunch,snacks and dinner. The menu is changed every week based on student feedback. the quality and quantity of food provided is truly way better than expected from a college mess.

The Selection Process at IIM Nagpur had SOP, Career Objective, and Why me kind of Questions in the Application Form itself and was considered for the shortlisting of candidates for the PI Round. The PI Round was conducted by the faculty of IIM Nagpur and students were evaluated on the past acads, Work Ex, general knowledge, hobbies, and communication. For preparation, I read the newspaper daily, brushed up the UG 3-4 subjects, Regularly appeared for mock interviews, and worked on the feedback. The Final selection is based on the Interview performance+Cat Scores+Profile.
