Remarks
I've given the MHTCET exam and then after getting the results I've applied for so many Colleges like VJTI, TSEC, VIT, and many more but based on my CET score I got VIT(EXTC). Also, I've applied in a special quota i.e TFWS(EBC). Like based on my score I could have got CS/IT in vit but the cut-off for TFWS was a bit high.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course only because I wanted to get into VIT and nothing else, actually, I had an interest in CS/IT but my score was less. Now talking about the student-teacher ratio it was about 25:1 pretty good. Professors are well educated few of them have even done PHD.
Internships Opportunities
Every department has one professor who is incharge of internships. So they provide us the internship opportunity but most of them are unpaid internships. They also got tie-up with Internshala therefore we also get some exclusive internship opportunities. Companies like Business Toys, TCS comes fir internship. Before the internship, they train us by providing few online courses free from Coursera and all. I myself have done courses on Coursera they also have a license for Matlab.I learned from there as well, all the skills like machine learning and image processing. Which helped me in Cracking the internship. They also work on improving our soft skills like how to dress, how to talk in the interview. They also conduct mock interviews and moc aptitude exams. So this was the overall internship thing. I've done 2 internships First from the digital house and the role was the front-end developer and the second internship I did was from Business Toys and the role was jr data analyst.
Placement Experience
Campus placement Is also good like every year around 90% + eligible students get placed but the average package is not that good it's around 4 or 5 LPA. I myself got placed in Jio platforms with the 4.5LPA package. There are also students who got the packages of about 7.5 to 8 LPA but there are very few people in this list.
Fees and Financial Aid
For any general student, the fees were around 1.4 lakh per year but most of the students apply for EBC scholarships then they get a 45% refund from the govt. In short, fees are not the problem if you belong to an economically backward class only thing matters is your CET/JEE score.
Campus Life
In Vidyalankar there are so many clubs and every week something Is happening whether it is a seminar or hackathon or some certification couse. And every Friday an event happens which is called as "Friday Pathshala" in this event teachers as well as students participate. And every February our main college fest happens which is called "VERVE". The whole month something keeps on happening. Personally, I like the concert night.
