You will get admission based on the RVU selection process and the basic requirements are mandatory like 10+2 or equivalent in any stream like Commerce, Arts, Science, Humanities etc. with a minimum aggregate mark of 60%. I Chose RV University as my graduation college because the interdisciplinary method of education was something that really interested me. I got a mix of both my career and my passion here,

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am a B.Des student at RV University. The course curriculum includes Design Foundation in Year 1 with subjects like Academic Writing, Design Thinking and Methodology, Drawing and Visualization, Evaluation of Art, Craft and design, Geometrical construction among others. Specialisations include Product Design and Innovation, Designed Environments, Information and Graphic design and User Experience. Minors can be chosen from specialisations from their 2 schools- School of Design and School of Liberal Arts and Science.

Placement Experience

5

RV University has got a lot of international collaborations to ensure that all the students get ample opportunities for placements and internships. This opportunity is from the 1st year of the course itself which is very exciting.

Fees and Financial Aid

Majorly the School the Design provide scholarship worth Rs.15 Lakh based on the rank obtained in UCEED and DAT. There are also various other scholarships offered by their School of Design and School of Liberal Arts and Science.

Campus Life

5

The campus has great infrastructure amidst a lot of greenery. We have a Great library, large auditorium, tennis court, basketball court, music studios and the labs are also very tech-savvy and advanced. There is a lot of scopes to involve in extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course seemed promising with well-made decisions. Real-world application depends on self-work, nobody will feed you with a silver spoon, so if you don't work hard, it's useless. Improvement can be made based on structure as every year things change making the old structure redundant and useless for the existing students. Exams are twice every year with multiple assignments every few weeks, difficulty is subjective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum they are provided is entirely different from they are actually teaching. The teaching methods are not upto level and not updated this it's hard for a student to keep up. The exams are conducted in between 2 months and only 1 practical exam will be conducted.

The placements are average as far as I know and the work an individual student does outside the college on their own helps them a lot more Around 60% of students get placements I plan on getting experience during the degree and using it to get more internships and jobs after the degree

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.
