Remarks
I have taken admission into Bachelors of Computer Application [BCA] for which we don't have to give any entrance test at the present time. But, for BCA one should have PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) in their intermediate examination. We can directly apply for the course and get admission to the college. However, for Btech courses admission will be based upon your WBJEE or JEE ranks.
Course Curriculum Overview
As compare to other colleges of West Bengal this college stands out in the course curriculum department. All the professors are knowledgeable and very helpful. Laboratories are well equipped and play an important role in practical learning. There are different lab classes for different subjects as soft skills language lab, chemistry lab, physics lab, etc.
Placement Experience
Placements for BCA department is not good as Btech but if you prepared well through out your curriculum you can get an offer as TCS, Wipro, CTS, Capgemini and many more companies visits our campus and take a lot of students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Course fees of BCA for 3 years is 202000rs. There are 6 semesters, 32000rs for each semester excluding the examination fee and they take 500 for the library fee and 4000 for uniform and bag at the time of admission. Campus jobs are managed by the training and placement cell of the college which is very helpful. Some of the company names who visit our campus are TCS, CTS, Capgemini, Deloitte, SAP labs, etc.
Campus Life
This college also stands out for extra curriculum activities. There is a big library on the campus with a good number of books. We have different kinds of the fest in our college like tech fest and mesmerizer(college fest happened last year). We have social groups and clubs for almost every activity like DSC (developers student club), Avenir, and many more. We also have a playground nearby the college where all sports programs take place.
