Entrance Preview

I did not took any entrance exam.

Placement Experience

The college has got a great campus. Sports facilities are admirable along with placements. Although increased a lot now is still low considering the quality of education and placement opportunities.

College Events

Social life is good annually three fests are organized with an average footfall of 5000 students from all over India. Moksha, the annual cult fest, is one of the most famous north Indian fests.

Campus Life

The college is actively participating in activities like sports fest (DU), IIT robotics fests etc along with many other the organization is handled by non-corrupt, honest individuals, though at times lecturers take unfair advantage of their posts .All in all if I have to rate , I will give it 7 rating .

Hostel Facilities

Food is not as good as you would like to have specially after first year food quality deteriorates. The maintenance of hostel facilities can be a upgraded though.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think course curriculum was good. Each semester has 20 credit. There are 5 days classes a week. There are 2 month of summer vacation and around 1 month of winter vaccination. When a semester start mid term exam is just after 1.5 month after and end term after 4 month.

Our college has shaped many careers!!

Placement Experience:

Many core companies come here as capital goods and defence sector is where our expertise and teaching takes us to. It's the majority of IT names that comes but I am or rather no one should look beyond their core branch otherwise there's no point is what I feel. Averages have suddenly gone up as currently as per the substrata of last 3-4 years it stands at 7.5 lakhs a year.

From second year onwards... student are given access to Traning and placement department... Most 2nd, 3rd years are eligible for intership offers and 3rd years are eligible for job offers. Ebullient (85LPA) is the highest offer provided, Avg package is around 17LPA. but but only 37% student has been placed this FY till now (placements are still going on)

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More

I didn't apply to any other college as I wanted to enter NSUT. Admission process of my college is through JEE mains exam. 95+ percentile for good branches but it depends on categories as well. The admission gets done by JAC counsil whoch consists of 4-5 colleges....Read More
