I have done B.Tech in C.S. branch from Konark Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in 2015. My experience from KIST is very good. According to my opinion KIST is a better place for engineering and management courses in Bhubaneswar.

Course Curriculum Overview

KIST is the place where students are connected with the practical experiments. Education at KIST is a merger of academic knowledge and extra co curricular activities. KIST is among the top most engineering colleges of Bhubaneswar, Odhisha. KIST organise various technical, digital, personality development for the students to prepare them as per industrial requirement and standards.

Internships Opportunities

The placement cell provides internship for the students from very first year.

Placement Experience

The college has its placement committee who work throughout the year for personality development of the students. KIST has its own placement cell named as œIndustry Institute- Interaction Cell, which is headed by the team of expert professionals. T. The team of placement cell ensures the regular grooming of the students and prepare them for job opportunities.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Actually I applied RIMS college for BBA and also I get selected for admission and I was in my journey of +3 science in zoology department, I got admission in modern degree college, Sonepur but one of my brother recommended me to this collage because of its course and govt scholarship aids soo i choosed over that i don't get rejected by any colleges but definately i had a dream of being enrolled in a professional degree that why I joined in kist Admission process I enter as a integrated student soo I don't have to clear ojee or gate soo i just go through document verification process and i got admission For MBA : ojee/cat/mat or simply you can directly contact to adminstrative department.
