Eastern Academy of Science & Technology was established in the year 2001 with an objective to serve Odissa state and the Nation in a way that cost effective and quality education should be given to youth to grow as professionals. College provides diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses.  It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology and is approved by Govt. of Odissa.

Digital Library: Digital library has thousands of e-books, various databases on the web, 150000 full text articles from Stanford University can be accessed by the students.

Magazine: Purabi- As name suggests “from east” its stands for the college. Magazine has various sections in English, Hindi and Oriya languages. Magazine is being a strong medium for the students to display their talent.

Ranking:
