Remarks

I applied for KJ somiaya VJTI and many colleges outside of Mumbai but couldn't get a seat due to criteria and couldn't attend I was from OPEN. The admission criteria for DMCE is 85+ in CET and 70+ in JEE. the admission process was smooth and easy and the staff were supportive and very kind.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of its scope and growing career. for every 60 students, there is one faculty who guides and inspires students. Qualification of faculty is most of them are Mtech and few are PhD. Term exams were held twice a year and was decently tough to score good.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 97908 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Accenture, Cognizant, TCS etc came with job offers with a stipend of 5lpa-9lpa etc and choose students who have the capability and relevant skills. projects under NSS etc are held for social welfare and other activities are held for Students growth.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are similar all year and don't hike much that 97k-105k. and cost to study is zero as everything is provided by the college that notes etc. The scholarship is provided by Caste. and internships with stipends for students who are capable and have relevant skills.

Campus Life

The annual fest name is MILESTONE and is held in November end of every year conducted by third year students. books and journals are provided by the college for 800 rs per year. amenities like blackboard projector and benches in decent condition. sports and many activities like badminton carrom soccer etc ae hed on the campus. Social groups like NSS GDSC and Codechef are groups run by students for their personal as well as career growth.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
