Proficiency in English language is given importance to this course. Time of PG courses is 2 years. Admission is done through MAT/JEMAT and CMAT exam.

IMS gives educational loan facilities to afford the tuition expenses. College fills up forms for government scholarships. Any student who gets 80% marks can opt for the scholarship. Total Rs 2.5 lacs can be taken as educational loan.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.
