Remarks
For admission to the master of public health, you have to give the CET entrance exam, qualifying for the exam is mandatory for admission after that one has to apply for counseling and select the college you want to study. Every year CET exam is arranged by makaut University.(Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology University) You have to apply for the exam and qualify for it, the cutoff is different for different categories I.e SC, ST, OBC, General.
Course Curriculum Overview
MPH is a post-graduate degree and I choose it because the demand for the public health sector has been increasing after the covid 19 pandemic occurred. This course will open up many opportunities for my career and will help me grow in the future. The faculty in ims college is pretty good... they're highly qualified and are very helpful in nature... Their way of teaching is very nice and they will guide you in every possible way. Makaut University conducts 2 University exams in a year as it is a semester-based course, having 4 semesters each semester of 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently studying in college and have yet to start internships. I got information from some of the seniors that internships will be provided in some hospitals and it will be with a stipend. Faculties will also provide guidance regarding the internship program.
Placement Experience
Generally, students become eligible for campus placement after 3rd sem results. College provides placement through conducting interviews with the company. Almost all students can get placement through college Approx 70-90%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here in ims are 40000rs / sem for MPH Admission fee of rs 25000 at the time of admission. The cost of the study is economical not very expensive. There are several scholarships provided by the state government.
Campus Life
College annual fest is conducted every year, also they celebrate festivals like Basant Panchami, Holi, Diwali, etc There is a College library where you can easily get books regarding your subjects. The College campus is in the main city area and easy to reach.
