I took PGET(Post Graduate Entrance Test) 2014, and My State rank was 274. I was wanted to study power system and only few colleges are there to give m.tech in power system. The best college in view of infrastructure and as well as faculty is Narula Institute of Technology. That is the main reason for opting this college.

The structure of my course is pretty good. As it was overall impact on theoretical as well as practical curriculum. And most importantly it gives you a very good exposure for your project work that is the most important part of you master degree. You can get help form expert faculties as well as their well equipped laboratory.

Yes, the college do provide internships for different companies and firms. So one can easily opt for internship through proper channel and application. Easily You can get internship help form college administration and faculties.

There are several techno-cultural events that happen every year in the college organised by them. They organised mega fest every year having said that their are so many things that happen in the events like gaming, musics,dances,arts. So you can get yourself boost up from these events. As well as college participate many events of state and national standards.

As the college is sponsored by TEQIP (Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme), so if you are not a GATE qualified candidate no need to take tension as by the help of TEQIP programme you will get scholarship while studying every month. And for GATE qualified candidates,they will get HRD sponsored stipend from central government each month.

Extra curricular activities we can say is good. Football tournament are organised for inter and intra college competition same goes with cricket tournament. In intra college we have all the events in our college ground itself. Gender ration is I think 70:30 security is very tight. There are many cultural programs that are organised by the college for singing and dancing.

Talking about the seniors I can say one thing that they are very helpful and very supportive by nature. You can get every support from them. and alumni network is very strong. every year college organizes an alumni meet for their pass out students so that the pass out can come and interact with each other.

As per the west bengal university of technology guidelines the college has to take semester system to consideration. In semester system there are total eight semester you have to give having two semester in each year and those semesters have gradation system for numbering. and one have two take internal exam of 30 marks before appearing for the final semester exam.

The faculty are highly qualified and well versed with their field of studies and provides us a better way of thinking for the subject that they teach. In the college especially in electrical engineering department their are many faculties those had published their own written books in their respective fields.
