Remarks

The College InfrastructureYess. Due to the lockdown I did not get a single chance to explore my college to the fullest. But I have visited 4-5 times and i think it is very well organized. It has all the necessary infrastructure and the basic facilities. I have seen the images of our library, labs etc. And i think it is all very well equipped with all the facilities. The AcademicsIm studying B.com prog. Though I have never seen my teachers. But the online classes have been very interactive all through and I really appreciate all the teachers and their hardwork. I think my curriculum considering the online mode of study includes all the required updates and developments. The facilities for evening students are very less so that's the main disadvantage of this college.I preferred QUORA and COLLEGE DUNIA for reading the reviews of this college before choosing it to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm studying B.com prog. Though I have never seen my teachers. But the online classes have been very interactive all through and I really appreciate all the teachers and their hardwork. I think my curriculum considering the online mode of study includes all the required updates and developments.Teachers are so understanding , they explained each and everything very nicely. This college prepare student for practical life also

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Currently the colleges are working online but there are many internships which are provided with a perfect stipend. These Internships are available at the end of your graduation or when you're in your 3rd year.

Placement Experience

4.5

I am currently in my second year of studying bcom at this college I haven't researched much about the placements. But I have heard from the seniors that the companies which came for recruiting are good and provide a decent package, but not all the students are placed. Many students opt for higher studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is permanent and it hardly changes which is very affordable for each and every student whereas there are many scholarships for students those who belong to lower income categories. Scholarships such as Dr. V.K.R.V. Rao Endowment Book-Grant.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very good since the collge has six blocks. Also we have a big playground. But one disappointing thing is that the college still doesnot have any auditorium. Our college has many socities pertaining to finance, dance, singing, drama, literature, entrepreneurship, history, pol science etc. So u get a good opportunity to embrace yourselves with any of your choice.

Girly

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

One of the strongest aspects of the institute is the faculty and the academic environment. Frequently members are generally experienced and approachable.
The teaching methodology includes case studies, presentation, group, assignments, group, discussions, projects, and practical assignments.
Another positive aspect is the exposure to corporate and professional life.

Placement Experience:

Lbsim has a structured campus placement process with participation from companies across sectors, such as consulting FMCG, IT/ITES , BFSI, marketing and operations. The institute provides students with placement preparation through aptitude test, mock interview interviews, group discussion, resume, building and corporate interaction.

We have well maintained library with more than 40000 books and documents, there are study cabins and all facilities required to have a productive day
There ample opportunites provided to students to amp up their game. The clubs and societies themselves take initiative to provide certifications to students, more than case comps are floated and students are encouraged to take part in them
The level of discipline and commitment expected of us is very similar to the other top MBA colleges, multiple assignments, deadlines, case submissions etc. The curriculum also requires students to make use of resources like Bloomberg and prowess.

Dislikes

The quality of cohort can be better. The quality is deteriorating from the senior batch to the juniors
Not being a residential insititute is a big challenge, as the load of work is the same as any residential insitute but most students also have additional buden of travelling which becomes very taxing in the long run.
There is some level of politics that goes on in student societies which can become toxic sometimes.

Placement Experience:

The college actively provides placement support, students are eligible for placements from the first trimester itself. Last year more than 150 companies took part in the placement process. The highest offer made was 24 LPA and the average was 12.32 LPA. 99% of the 2026-2028 batch got placed by April 2026.

Social interaction is good in this college
Greenery around the campus, fresh air comes directly

Dislikes

Infrastructure could have been more better
The college seriously needs a renovation

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, the curriculum is quite good and covers the main subjects needed for B.Pharm. I chose this course because it gives a good mix of pharmaceutical theory and practical knowledge. The practical classes help in understanding the concepts better and the course provides a useful foundation for further studies and future jobs in the pharmaceutical field.

My experience at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so far !!

To get admission into any college of University of Delhi you need to appear in CUET ( Common University Entrance Exam ). Cutoffs vary from college to college depending on how many students apply for that college. I simply chose SBSC over other colleges i was eligible for because it was the best option i had and since i didn't want to go to a girls college so preferred SBSC over DRC and IP and also over ARSD, SGGSCC and all other colleges at this level. I also got admitted in christ Bangalore ( Central Campus ) and Narsee Monjee ( Mumbai Campus ). But these institutions didn't seem worth it and Delhi University in general has a better reputation....Read More
