Remarks
People used to make fan of my college's name as it's a name of really famous washing powder which is a fun fact. Other than that , As per the NIRF Ranking 2020's management category, the Institute of Management Nirma University (IMNU), which offers MBA and integrated MBA (IMBA) programmes, is ranked #44. 100 percent of IMNU 2020 placements were made as a result of the programme. The reasons I chose this university are based on these considerations. A wide range of cutting-edge amenities are available to students at the institute in order to promote holistic development among them. They also offer a five-year integrated management programme, as well as postgraduate and doctorate programmes. In such programmes, admission is based on various tests, including the CAT and GMAT.
Course Curriculum Overview
On the MBA, we learn about organisational behaviour, marketing management, operations management as well as accounting and reporting as well as business ethics. We also learn about how to make decisions for use in the workplace. Therefore, I've mastered the art of finding the right mix of theoretical grounding with practical application so far in my career. Leadership, communication, and creativity are just a few of the soft skills that are taught by our college's faculty. On top of all of that, we learn practical skills. Most faculty members have a PhD or are IIM alumni. When it comes to learning more about a certain subject, their advice is invaluable.
Internships Opportunities
An on-campus internship programme allows companies to hire summer interns from the institute. Internships are available at a number of companies, including JPMC, Amul, Ford, Calvin Klein, IIFL, Mahindra, and Big Basket.
Placement Experience
Summer Placement brought a number of well-known companies from a wide range of industries to campus for the first time ever. Other companies include UNIDO, JP Morgan, Publicis Groupe, EXL Services, SmartCube, Bigbasket, SBI Life Insurance, Radio Mirchi, Textron, Coca-Cola, Havmor, Jio Studios, Nephroplus, Maier+Vidorno, and more. Despite the fact that the maximum salary is 12 lacs and the average package is only 9 lacs, I plan to get a job with one of these companies and then start my own business once i've saved up enough money.
Fee Structure And Facilities
exempting hostel fees, I spent INR 5 lakh for a year of MBA at IMNU and INR 100000 for two years. As a result of my excellent academic record and meeting all of the prerequisites, I was awarded a scholarship of INR 100,000 in the first year of the MBA programme. In contrast, scholarships for other categories vary.
Campus Life
A number of activities take place throughout the year because our institution is committed to students' holistic development. Plentiful clubs and committees have been set up in order to help us develop our leadership skills and familiarise ourselves with the various aspects of management. I'd like to draw attention to a few recent occurrences. "Parakram" is an inter-college sporting event that includes cultural festivities like Lohri, Ganesh Chaturthi and other holidays. Public speaking is encouraged by clubs such as Karwanan, while News Junction keeps us informed about current events and Rotaract strives to make the world a better place. There are 46,496 books and 14,232 electronic books in IMNU's library, which is huge. There are also 248 periodicals and newpapers, 12,580 online journals, 2191 electronic media bound volumes, 59 theses and 19,370 electronic journals at the institute.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are available at the Nirma University. A total of three hostel buildings are available, each with a large number of well-furnished rooms. The hostels offer sports and other recreational amenities, such as cable TV and a common area for interaction, as well as sports and other recreational amenities. All hostel rooms have 24-hour access to the internet. It's got a locker and a balcony table, as well as bulletin boards and a bulletin board. RS.65,000 per year gets you a non-AC room with two twin beds in it. If you're in a full-time MBA programme, you'll have to live in a dormitory. Even with three meals a day, the mess is not too bad. It's not great, but it works. Throughout the evening, tea is available as well.
Admission
A two-minute presentation was required for Theme Development, and the topic was given to me on the spot. It was a report on India's healthcare system. TD conducted the interview using a laddering method. Some of the questions dealt with academics, while others were more general. We only had to prepare for the most basic interview because it was a simple one.
