Remarks

No of selected graduates for placements and by MLC are high compared to other colleges, also education is good , clubs and sports are highly encouraged and supported from Dean academy Overall a good college with all facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

According to my experience everything is good , experienced faculty , updated curriculum and academics are fine. Tests and quizzes are conducted frequently so that students won't be forgetting topics. Everything will be explained in detailed and if possible a live experience also will be shown to students on particular topics

Internships Opportunities

Not yet companies are coming right now for internships , students are writing intern tests for developing their skills

Every year out of 100 students 70 Students are getting placed in top companies likeGoogle, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Cisco, ExxonMobil, Qualcomm, and many more Approximately 150+ companies will visit nitc to every year

I didn't get any scholarships , but students who avail for scholarships will be allotted and according to students family income per annum , fees vary.Also for sc , st candidates fees is less compared to other castes

Infrastructure is super cool , also there are cultural and technical clubs students can join in any club according to their interest, sports are also encouraged, inter nit is conducted every year.2 types of fests are conducted in the month of October and January, students from different schools nd Colleges are welcomed to visit and view our works done by clubs.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
