Remarks

The course curriculum is very well designed and my graduation is also done in instrumentation and control so i preferred this course. Admission process is done via CCMT portal based on GATE score. Some of my senior also suggest that the course which I select is good.

The course curriculum is well. Academics is also good. And all the faculties, professor are very helpful in nature and the teaching style is also very good. They have very good and depth knowledge in their research area and subjects.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

In NIT calicut, there are two types of opportunity. One is internship and other is placement. Internship is for first year student.and for placement. 2nd year student are eligible. College provide more then enough opportunity to get placed. In ICS branch, avg package is 11 lpa . Almost 50% student placed in 2nd year and some students get internship in first year. So almost 70-80% students placed.

Campus Life

Unfortunately, due to Pandemic situation we are not able to go college and not interacting with any group or club. When I joined the college, all such things is totally online.for books and journal we have online access.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
