It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It was ranked 56 for both University and Private Universities NIRF. Noida admission process for MBA programme is conducted through an online mode. I met all the below-mentioned eligibility criteria, that needed to register online via official website of the University. I had to submit my 12th marksheet scoring 70% and BBA marsheet scoring 72. I also appeared for CAT exam scoring 85%. Shiv Nadar University conducts an entrance exam, namely SNUSAT for admission to most of the courses.The final selection of students is based on the entrance exam scores, followed by a Written Test (WT) and Personal Interview (PI).
Course Curriculum Overview
SNU is offering advanced minor specializations in Entrepreneurial Leadership/ Quan.Finance/ E-com. Digital Mtkg & Customer Experience Management/ Big Data, Data Vis. & Analytics/ Sustainability & Environmental Management. It also offers a broad range of electives from Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, Entrepreneurship and StrategyStudents get an opportunity to learn international languages ?ÛÒ Mandarin or Spanish.
Internships Opportunities
Workshops are conducted on Introduction To Entrepreneurship, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Market Research, Cross-Cultural Business Etiquette, etc. I was required to undergo summer internship for a period of eight weeks at the end of the first year of the Programme.
Placement Experience
Apart from the academics, SNU has signed MoUs with international universities like Deakin University and the University of California to provide international opportunities to its students. The University timely conducts academic and research-related activities in collaboration with these universities. In addition to this, the University has a dedicated Career Development Centre (CDC) that facilitates all the placement-related activities, such as placement drives and pre-placement talks. In 2019, the placement record of the University was 93% along with the participation of 250 companies. The highest CTC offered during 2019 placements was Rs 31.5 lpa .
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course was of 3 years for which I paid total fees around 5,00,000. Every year, I paid approximately 10,00,000 each. I didn't get the scholarship but I got the financial aid help that helped me pay my fees. The University has a total of 241 faculty members and maintains a student-faculty ratio of 1:10 under all the programmes. It has introduced a good platform for the exam for which video should be on, and you cannot move to the next page.
Campus Life
It has a world-class infrastructure. The service of food served is awesome. It is a good place for sports. Our college provides horse riding, table tennis, gym, cricket, golf, football, squash, billiards, volleyball, football, etc. It has a world-class infrastructure of hotels and labs.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure of the college is excellent when compared to most of the colleges. Most of the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. It has the top class amenities with an amazing indoor sports complex, three spacious dining halls, playgrounds, well-equipped labs, and 24x7 medical room.
Admission
Shortlisted candidates were called for personal interview based on performance in telephone interview and a short on-the-spot essay writing test. I was tested on the reading, understanding, articulation skills and critical thinking ability, not on their knowledge of subject matter. International candidates have the option to interview on Skype.
