My experience in BMSCE

The institute holds permanent affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. It has certain pro factors like a good placement cell, a good salary package after course completion, on-campus housing facilities, etc. Reading about it facinated me to fill the online form. I was asked to submit 12th marksheet scoring 70% and BBA scoring 68%. I also gave CAT exam scoring 85%. After clearing the exam I got the admission.

The first 2 semesters are focused on core courses and 2 seminars. While the final 2 semesters focus on courses of their chosen specialisation. There is compulsory 4 weeks Internship between semester 2 and 3 (general) and each specialisation has 6 functional and 2 cross-functional courses. A total of 25 credits need to be complete each semester totalling up to 100 credits at the end of the course. 85% attendance is mandatory throughout the course. The teachers are very friendly and also they are well qualified with Ph.D. they are also well knowledge. The teaching quality is also good and also in well mannered way. The teaching methods they use are PPT and video form and some more. The student-faculty ratio is 15:1. We were taken to few industry trip every month.

The course is divided into 4 semesters with 4 weeks of internship opportunity and 6 weeks of final project under their specialisation. I got an internship in a reputed MNC with a stipend. I gained lot of practical knowledge and got a chance to polish my professional experience.

Moody, berger, itc are top companies. College provide us good placement. Almost 80% of students got internship. The highest package is 6.5 lakhs. College lecturers have bundle of knowledge. Recruitment officer makes sure that almost all students get placement.

My course was of 3 years for which I paid total fees around 50,000. Every year, I paid approximately 25,000 each. I didn't get the scholarship but I got the financial aid help that helped me pay my fees.

The fest and cultural events are excellent. The teachers themselves pushed us in participating the events. They want the students to be best in everything. The campus surroundings have many temples. It a tourist spot, people visit the temples, and most of them are historical.

Lab, library are the various facilities offered by the college and classrooms with A/C, college environment is good and it is surrounded with trees and in college sports club is also there. We were provided with facility to park their vehicles inside the campus. Sports facilities are also good no restriction on those activities. Every person is welcomed to engage in sports and our college has good name in sports.
