Remarks

College is not that bad, It had a good infrastructure but need some changes regarding future. They should be more flexible with their approaches. They should charge fees in accordance to the fees charged by other colleges. And the decoration made to college was with flowers only so they need to work on that.

Entrance Preview

I opted for B.Com(H) and it didn't require any entrance test. I got admission on the basis of marks scored in 12th standard.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Courses are prescribed by Delhi University and it includes as usual theoretical Knowledge. The information provided by college is bookish and lacked by practical knowledge. And practical knowledge is required whenever you go for a job.We had to complete 9 or 10 subjects in a year and there was no semester system at that time.It was not that interesting which is used to be thought before joining the course.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship program in our college. The companies which came for placement used to come North campus. So, it was not a good competition.

Placement Experience

1.5

The companies didn't come to our college for placement instead they come to north campus for placement. The college faced issues regarding the placement as they have to search for the jobs themselves. This is the duty of college to provide college placement before a student pass out or get his/her Degree.

College Events

3.5

The festivals which used to be celebrated in college are freshers party, Fest etc. The most important was the fest as it was celebrated at very grand level and encourage a good participation from the students side. There used to be many competitions and a good refreshment for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was not good as it was costly and the same courses were offered at around 40% less than the fees paid to the college. And in the last year the fees we paid was almost double of the fees paid to other colleges in Delhi University for the same courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have any knowledge about the loan or scholarship facility.I think there was no such facility but if there was, then i am not the right person to tell you about that.

Campus Life

4

There is no chance of any gender ratio as it was a totally girls college. There was not a single boy in our college. We had different options for Sports like Hockey, Shooting, Aerobics etc. Our college didn't give admission to SC student instead it enrolls Sikh students. Our college didn't participate in any election and college authorities had kept the college apart from the political activities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There was no hostel facility provided by our college so there was no mess at all. We had a canteen which offers good food but at high prices as compared to other college canteens.I used to do regular up down for my college and it was near ITO and it used to consume one n half hour or more sometimes.

Alumni/Alumna

I never had any Alumni meet but i met some of the Senior student who were eager to help i we require any help whether its books or any other.I didn't have a good experience with my seniors as i kept myself limited to classes and didn't like to waste time after classes and rush to home after that.

Exam Structure

The exams were all theoretical and it didn't require any Lab assistance except for the computer exams. The days were not very hectic as we used to have all the exams based on theory. We used to go to computer labs for computer practical, projects and viva.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college was at average. It was if not that good then it was not even that bad. Some staff members were very hard working and used to make notes for the students. But most of the staff members were not interested to teach by their heart.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
