Remarks

The good aspect of studying in DoMS IIT, is that to study MBA in an IIT ecosystem. The admission starts in the month of February every year. A valid CAT score is essential for joining. Work experience and Personal Interview performance are also considered for selection.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA curriculum covers the core management concepts and specilisations as Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations. Faculties are very good in teaching and providing guidance to research. Faculty student ratio is 1:6.25.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 931500 per year

Placement Experience

The summer and final placements are good every year. Many companies come to the campus for recruitment as it is a part of IIT. In summer placement of 2020, the highest stipend was INR 180000 and average was INR 50,160.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The MBA programme fees inclusive of Tuition fees, Hostel fees, Admission fees, mess charges and miscellaneous fees come around INR 931500. Educational Study loan facilities are also provided to students.

Campus Life

The life at DoMS IIT is awesome. Vittarth- finance club , Operazione - Operations Club, Marketing Club, Placement Committee, Newsletter Committee, Sports Committee etc are some of the clubs and committees.

Placement Experience:

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

MBA at Doon University

Admission:

When you are selected through your CAT you need to pass through the GD and PI round. The topic of GD is related to current affairs and we were given 20 minutes. The PI round was for about 15 minutes and general questions were asked about my academics, my experience etc. I gave some mock interviews which helped me a lot for these rounds.

Remarks:

DOMS Roorkee experience of MBA

I applied for this position through the IIT Roorkee website and paid an Rs.1600 application fee. Admission was made solely on the basis of merit and personality. MBA programme of IIT Roorkee

Actually I did my graduation from NIT Delhi and also wanted to maintain my MBA standard upto that for which IIT Roorkee was a great option. Management department of this institute is known for its high placements and also has AICTE approval.
