Remarks

I am in Bangalore institute of technology (BIT) as I have given JEE mains and got good rank so I applied for many NITs like Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Jaipur and etc but I am getting a good branch in BIT Bangalore and as the college is very popular and very good in placement so I chose BIT Bangalore. The admission criteria are very simple you have to give COMEDK OR KCET exam and if you got an eligible rank then you can get to this college through counseling. My counseling is online but it's very good and fast also and for proper admission, I have to go to college and submit my documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose my course because is electronic and I like to do something in the future. The faculty in BIT is very good they are all are helpful and very there are many faculty in the branch and all are very well educated and also their teaching methods are also good and easy to understand. We have you internals every 1.5 months. Exams are easy but also tough sometimes.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provide internships to students and some small startups also. Students can get 25 to 30 thousand in internships. There are projects related to courses themselves only so no need to worry about the stuff in internships that impact teachers also help to guide in internships.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from the 6th semester and many different and big companies also visited bit like Amazon, Adobe, Infosys, etc. The highest package went up to 22 lakhs per annum and the average is nearly 8 lakhs per annum. Almost 90% of the students get placed. I am planning for MS from Germany.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is pretty easy as there is both an installment procedure and one-time payment plus you can take loans for your studies also. There are some scholarships for students which you get on your scores in semester exams and final exams.

Campus Life

Manthan is your annual fest and it's very good and enjoyable all books are available in the library about courses. Yes, there are some amenities sports are not that good and proper as this college is very small so they do have that many good sports facilities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good they also serve north Indian food and also teacher also see if students are treated properly or not. Meal is also good they serve different kinds of dishes and for registration, you have to go to the college site or hostel site and book room there also. There are many rooms and pg available near the college in fact flats are also available.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

A good college life

The Campus is student friendly and interactive

Faculty here is very good and they are expert in their fields and interact with students

Campus is bit small but it looks good and great
Overall campus is good with basketball court and football ground

• Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester itself • Companies like TCS, WIPRO , INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, HCL , IBM , AMAZON etc do visit college every year and a good amount of 80 to 90 offers are made per year • Highest package offered here is 13 lpa and the average lpa is around 5 to 6 lpa • Almost every student gets placed here with a good lpa • My plan is to get a good job from here and secondly preparing for higher studies

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
