Remarks

I have applied in lots of colleges in my state but due to they some my personal issue I will not be able to take admission there so I choose CGC Landran. if you have 75% in your 12th board you can take direct admission in college. Also, you can apply through PTU counselling as my college is affiliated with Punjab Technical University.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Computer science engineering. Faculty members are overall good. They are very supportive if students are interested in their studies also provide lots of guidance to us for our placement. That is a very beneficial point.

Yes, our college also provides internship opportunities. They organized coding tests for companies and students have to clear them for taking the internship in that companies also college provides some internships on Internshala.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement for their 5th semester. The highest package of college is 35 lac and the average package of college is 5-6 lac. Overall placement is very good in our college as every year around 500+ companies visit the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay 47000 in your first semester then 45000 in your second semester. In the rest, all semester you just only pay 43000 for all but hostel fees are too high but it's depend upon you which hostel you have to choose as there is 6-7 hostel in college.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome. In the first semester, you can take participate in lots of events because our college has 7-8 social clubs which organized a lot of events every month. Overall campus life is such an amazing experience for me.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are too good. There are 6-7 boys hostels on our campus and one hostel for girls one is just because it's already a huge hostel. In which 3 separate buildings are present inside. Food quality is also good.

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

I choose this college because there are very reasonable fees which we can afford. This is well known college in my area which gives the placement to many students that was the best thing about my college. In our college they train the student by taking TPP in this we have verbal, technical, aptitutde. They prepare us for the interviews and this is not done in any other colleges. In first i tried to take admission in chandigarh university but there fees structure is out of my budget. So i choose the Chandigarh Group of College over the Chandigarh University. The benefits and companies are same as the Chandigarh University. The admission process of our college is just that you have to visit the cgc landran website and register their.
