Remarks

I applied for desh bandhu college and shyam lal college ,i was eligible for both but desh bandhy college are very far from home that's why i drop desh bandhu colllge and go for shyam lal college. I got addmission in 5th cuttoff on 78% marks on that time and i got maths and computer science as deciplin subjects. On the day of counselling i went with my brother first of all we waited in parking and after some time some says go for the that line and i stand on that queue and i carry all of the important documents and the. I entered in staff room a madam arey verifying marks and she verified and keep my 10th ,12th and other documents and then i got my addmission. It seems difficult but it's very.

Because i want to prepare for civil service after graduation and i thought BA programme is the easiest course and it was. Computer science faculty is best, overall all faculty are good except maths faculty. Teaching methods depend on teacher,means which teacher teaching us over all good teaching method. Semester exams are held on time and its easy to pass exam student need to assure 40% marks to pass tha exam in specific subject.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 33000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no hike in fees or any other hidden fees. That's good part in college , and well stocked library no need to but any book Scholarshipa are only for specific students like obc sc or student got highest marks in a year that's all.

Campus Life

There was lots of societys like drama , photography, music, dance , and other department society that why there was lots of events and fest are held in college. Good campus life there. Well stocked library there and Peace full reading room are available Sports teachers are available there is sports like hockey, football, ballyball etc This year our college hockey team won the championship from other colleges Sports things aate good in college Extra activity like NCC NSS or othet society works are very active and very enjoyfull. There is poetry society and dance society photography society and other societys are by students for stydents

The wonders of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits.
