I got admission to Cummins college through the mhtcet cap round. In our college three branches are available C.E, MECHANICAL, ETC from this I want to go with C.E, so I have chosen C.E at the time of applying and luck I got C.E branch in an open category.

In Cummins college, every teacher's are well highly qualified and all are having experience too. In 1st year there is 4 college exam conducted by college and 2 University exam are there. And also many class tests are conducted by the teachers.

Internships Opportunities

Campus opportunities are in Microsoft, UBS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, TATA , CUMMINS INDUSTRY , CAPGEMINI , IBM, Mahindra, IGATE, etc. The project is given to 3&4 year students to get more practice about the course and get perfection in that.

Placement Experience

From 7 semesters students are eligible for the campus placements. There is an average package of 5.16 LPA and the highest package of 21 LPA. I am going to complete my M.E after my degree course and internship, or other courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available. If any students are from financial issues college support that students, emotional and financial too by reducing their fee and by providing Cummins scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus is at hingna and there is no traffic noise. From college, the hostel is about 500m away. On campus all labs are available. With well natured faculties. Because of this pandemic situation, I am also not. Seen campus properly.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is nice .well clean and hygienic. In one room there are 3 students. The hostel is attached with the mess, gym, study room, guest room. There is a common washroom. Which compartment type. There is also gas available for self cooking.

Hostel Fee: INR 19000 per year

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. The admission process was good, you can take the admission through the CAP round or directly on the basis of your JEE Main score. The cutoff varies on the basis of the branch and the seats available. The application form and all the information regarding fees and dates are available on the college website or you can directly contact the institute. Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samastha provides a lot of benefits for women's education, there are reservation benefits for SC, ST and OBC categories. Good Placements!! (That is all what matters right?)

I didn't take any entrance exams. My admission was purely on the basis of my JEE MAIN score. Cut-off varies according to the branch, and it is different every year. I found out about this institute through my uncle, who is an employee of TATA CUMMINS INDIA LTD.
