Remarks

Admission process was smooth. Hassle-free and fast. Counselling day was good. Everything was explained well. We got to know about various college activities, also department tour, sports department, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always been amazed by Computers since childhood. So I chose computer engineering. Facultyy student ratio is great. Majority of the faculty is PhD, they will help you in whatever you need. Term exams were held at proper time, passing depends on how good you study. If you study well, passing is a cakewalk.

Class Size: 154Course Fees: INR 97910 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCR innovation, Sparks Foundation, Goldman Sachs come with internships for the role of SWE with stipend ranging from 1000 - 10000 rupees. Projects were of software development category and also fintech projects were there.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th Semester. Variety of companies like Capgemini, TCS, Godrej, LTI, Reliance JIO and many more. Total 185 offers were made in last year. Highest package was of 10 L.P.A. offered by LTI. Around 50% of students were placed from Computer Department, and others went for higher studies or off campus placements. My plan is to pursue higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is same almost throughout the years. Cost is very efficient compared to other colleges. Many scholarships are provided to students who are of any caste. Also financial assistance is there for students whose income is less than a certain limit. Internships and job opportunities are given to students.

Campus Life

There are many social groups like National Service Scheme which is the topmost unit in Mumbai University currently. Also there is CodeChef Club where students come together to improve coding culture in college. Also there are department level clubs which organize technical events throughout the year.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
