Remarks

I got admitted through cet marks though Dmce was not my first choice was VJTI and then KJSomaiya but as soon as I got dmce I panicked and frozen my choice due to lack of time. The admission criteria for DMCE is 100+ marks in cet for civil/mech. 110 + for any other branch i.e comp and chemical.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer engineering due to its scope and now I can say I made mistake but I am passionate about ui/ux so computer engineering will help me in it. For every 40 students, there is one faculty who guides and faculty are very supportive and focus on the individual growth of students. Almost all faculties are BTech graduates and few are masters as well as Ph.D. too. Term exams are twice a year before the semester paper as a test for students and it helps us to be prepared for our exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 108000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our colleges provide internships with companies like uto solution, Capgemini with a stipend of 6000 rs the roles offered are software developer and web developer. Projects based on AI/ML and many more interesting topics are seen every year.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placement from sem 5. Many students get placed in sem 5 in companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS. Last year's highest package was 12 LPA and the Average is 3 LPA almost 10-15 percent of students get placed in sem 5 and 40 Percent gets placed in last year. I am passionate about ui/ux and want to pursue a career in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am still a student here thou I can say many of my seniors got amazing packages. This year the Highest package was 12 LPA and the average LPA is 3. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Accenture, etc come here every year and few students get the opportunity to prove themselves in these companies.

Campus Life

There are many clubs run by students. Codechef is one of them handled by students In this the students compete for competitive programming and increase their domain of programming each and every day. Another one is the GDSC Google Developer Students club this focuses on overall growth and learns more about AI/ML topics etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam.
