Remarks

This college is great for middle-class students. Cause the fees of the B. Tech program isn't with comparing to the other colleges. Thus it has good faculty with TNP cells helping Students finding jobs more easily. Till it's a great journey in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a science enthusiast. I love computers since primary school. So, I got interested in engineering. There is one faculty for 10 students. The ratio would be 10: 1. The teaching method is quite Good. Exams are organized at the proper time.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tata Consultancy, Infosys, Flipkart, Cognizant, almost offers the same job role to the fresher. But they are two types are from a technical background and Non-technical background. The college professor also helps to create personal projects for students.

Placement Experience

From semester seven students are eligible to sit for placement. Many renowned companies like Tcs, Infosys, Cognizant, Flipkart many small start-ups. Most of the companies that come for hiring are service-based companies. Moreover, 75 % of students get placed but in core branches, the percentage is a bit lower than this. The average package is about 5 to 6 lakhs. The highest package is around 14 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I previously said the fee structure was quite good. They also offer scholarships to needy students. Swami Vivekananda scholarships, and many more. They are many companies approaching for an internship like Flipkart, Tcs, Infosys.

Campus Life

College life is moderate. But it totally depends on you how fast socialize with people. But clubs are very well established. Sport faculty is very good. They are is a very coding culture among students.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. From 8th semester the students get eligible for campus placements . Some good companies like TCS Capgemini Infosys visited campus . Amazon also visited our campus the highest package is about 22 lakhs and average packages 5.5 lakh . about 80% student of CSE , IT and ECE branches get placed.

I like my college as it is but it can be good

I choose this college cause it is near my house and one of friends recommended me. I didn't applied to other colleges cause I knew I will be get selected and the financial condition of my house is not so good. Eligibilty of the course is 60 percent in with maths in 12th and needed to sit and get a rank in wbjee .Admission process is too much sothing you have to just come in college with the required fees admission fees is approx 96,000 in first sem you can deposit it in 6 month in half half amout.And in next sem approx 85000 is needed per sem till 4 year.Admission process is easy they will cooperate with you.you can get the form in admission dpartment.Areas of improvement is mainly if fees isn't paid in 6 month then yo will not be allowed to sit in exams....Read More

Khatti Methi College Life in TIB

They give admission through wbjee and jee main exams . In wbjee your rank have to under 30000 . For CSE you rank should be under 21000 . In betech admission wbjee and jee main have their own admission portal only you have to fill up the form and which college you prefer. And you can also get admission directly with donation .
