Brief knowledge

I appeared for UPSEE. I ranked 17k in it. I have chosen this college through counselling. I have applied for a few waiver seats but due to some paperwork, I didn't get it & join through the GEN quota. Basically, you have 55% minimum in 12th and 150+ marks in the UPSEE exam to get college through it. The whole counselling process took approx 1.5 months, in which you have to pay 20k for your seat booking. You have to give physical presence on the college which you have allotted then some paper works. After paperwork, you have to submit the college fee.

I get the Information Technology branch through counselling. The first year is quite better than others because facilities focused on you more than others. The ratio of faculty: student is 1:15. Most of the faculties have PhD in their respective fields and some are MSc and currently completing their PhDs. There is a form for students for rating teacher teaching methods. Basically, there are 2 semesters in 1 year you have 6 theory subjects and 4 labs in 1 year. If you devote your 2-3 hours daily to academics then it will be easy to qualify for the examination.

I'm in my first year so didn't have much knowledge about the college internship opportunity, but some of the seniors have told us about the internship programme in college some companies are BSNL, MTNL, and some medical companies.

You are applicable for campus placement in the 6th sem. TCS, Cognizant, Appventurez, Mobiloitte, HCL are the mass recruiter. Other companies are polycab, Amazon, Chegg, Maq software, NTT data, Wipro etc. More than 90% of students are placed, in recent years RKGIT has improved a lot in placement. The highest packed was 1200000 and the average package is 400000. I have planed for campus placement.

The fee for BTech is 132800 for the first year, For 2,3,4 years it is 11080. There is a scholarship program from the UP government & college also. For the UP government scholarship, you have to appear in UPSEE. For college, you have to rank top 10 in aktu examination.

Basically, the campus is full of smart classes, good lighting,ac good number of seats available for comfort. There is a yearly sports event, games which are in the event are cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, Kabbadi etc. There are many groups of specific fields. Photography - The photoholics. Dance - Krystal spark, Acting/Drama - Unwaan, Literature - Taxila Etc
