Life at Galgotias University

We have IITs aligned curriculum and we have India's first active learning classrooms, here we have 6 round tables in classes also with multiple screen so that students and learn pair and share, less notebook and more practical learning. Exams are generally after every 2-3 months in odd sem and 1-2 sem in even semesters.

It is mandatory for all the students to get a internship in 3rd year, my senior who got placed in Microsoft, it was a PPO he received after completion of his internship. Also you can get internships through Galgotias Entrepreneurship Cell's Internship and Carrer Connect Team. It also provides you internship or job offer in Startup's also.

Students become eligible for placements generally after 4th sem which is 3rd year. There are multiple companies which comes for the placement like Microsoft, HCL Tech etc. Galgotias has highest package of 60 LPA. With 98% students got placement. My plans after B tech is to do Masters.

I had paid 171000 in my first year which consists of 169000 course fee (including examination fee). There are different type of financial aid which is available for students like UP government scholarships, excellence scholarship, CUET fee concession, military quota etc.

Galgotias student council organized Galgotias University which is north India's one of the biggest fest ever, we also have multiple events like Investo Pitch, Fashion shows, E summit, Drone arena challenges etc every year. All the communities are student driven also I am a member of Galgotias Entrepreneurship Cell and All booked (literature club).

I have applied to multiple colleges like DIT, Bennett University, also some of the university in US like Miami University, Seton hall etc. But I failed to secure scholarships there as they were too expensive, I chose Galgotias University over Bennett and DIT because Galgotias provides more in less fees, It has better faculties, labs, communities, education in a very affordable price.

Faculties are very well educated and kind, they help to at each and every step. I won't say that I have a favourite faculty as all are very nice to me. There will be 2 exams in each semester, one is MTE (Mid term examination) and the other is ETE (End term examination), also there will be 2 IAs during lectures, one before MTE and one after MTE.

If you live in InCampus hostel then the cafeteria, library, gyms, Lebroc everything is accessible to you 24/7. There is nothing much to explore around university but there is India's first F1 racing track in jaypree green which is under 200 m of galgotias University. It is very safe to roam around at night as it is completely student area.
