Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as it covers all the core concepts of computer science like dbms, operating systems, data structures and object oriented programming. These subjects helped me to build projects around them

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 164000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for btech cse is 1.64 lakhs per year. Tuition fees is 1.49 lakhs and added with 15000 examination fees it will sum up to 1.64 lakhsThere is UP Scholarships for the up students. And loan facilities is available for Bihar students through Bihar government For 4 years it will cost around 6.56 lakhs. Fees generally don't increase yearly

Campus Life

The overall experience for me at Galgotias University is quite engaging. The social interaction among the batchmates is awesome. The university organises it's cultural fest during the month of march and april where students show case the skills

Admission

I choosed this Galgotias university for its strong placement records and rate on interest among other private universities. My primary goals was to get a placement after not getting into iits and Galgotias University is helping me to achieve my goal

Faculty

Around one teacher is present inside the class of 56 students which results good faculty to students. The teachers for dsa are mind blowing they help each student to solve the coding problem. Overall faculties are good

Night Life

Night life for students is very good. College has only boys hostel inside the campus. College has gym, cafeteria etc for recreational activities. Libraries in university open till late night where students can study

Placement Experience:

Placement is good enough for those who did well in academics and skills, they mostly provide the developer job with some specialization jobs. The placement cell management is very messy so it's very complicated process. And also it's depends on the market conditions also.

placement and internship are good. if person have to sit in a internview , he must maintain 7.5 cgpa. 2nd year students can appear for placement but their average must be more than 7.5 cgpa. infosys , tcs, tech mahindra and more other companies visited for campus placement. after getting a degree my plans are to acquire a good pakage and work in mncs.

Review of an Independent Engineer

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I always wanted to be an Engineer. And had a keen interest in programming languages. It always fascinated me that we can write code and make the computer work the way we desire. This has endless possibilities for application. Since I am from the CSE department. I would say in the Batch 2015-19 around 180 student were there divided into 4 sub sections. As It would not be possible to manage the number at once. So for each subject there are dedicated faculties which belongs to the department but there are certain subjects which were common to other department so other department teachers also used to teach CSE students. Most of the teachers had qualifications as Master of their subjects. Tech qualified. Only a few of the teachers were Ph.D. qualified. The teaching method of the First & second-year faculties was very good. They focus on leaning of students but in the third and fourth years teaching faculties don't pay that much attention to the student. Students have to rely mostly on self-studies.

"Worth the fees"

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students get eligible for the placements. Many companies visit the college including PalaoAlto, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, HCL, and many others. The highest package offered this year was about 11 lakhs and the average is 4lakh. Nearly 60% of students get placed. I plan to have a decent campus placement after completing my course with the guidance of faculties and then learn further and switch companies as per my learnings.
