Remarks
First of all, I wanted to get into FMS because the investment is nearly good because we are paying only 2 lakh for 2 years. And If we compare any criteria with other premium B-Schools it is at par. It is at par with IIM Lucknow, XLRI. Here placements are at par with them. So, mainly students choose because of placements the placement is really good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers are I say really good. They have involved in their own research and they have Ph.D. also. Most of them I guess from foreign universities. So, they are really experienced.About the course curriculum, in 2 semesters we were taught around 16 subjects related to the operation, marketing, information technology, management, organizational behavior, communication, economics.
Internships Opportunities
The placement committee made the whole process smooth. They maintain the relationship with the corporate and they are the ones who arrange the different companies for the summer placement based on the different profile of students of a particular batch. So, I would say for us I think the average was around 2.5 lakh, I'm not sure about the exact figure and median I guess around 2 lakh.
Placement Experience
For our seniors, most of them got PPOs and top sponsors like Amazon, Flipkart, and top FMCG companies like HUL, ITC, Mondelez and there were some big consulting companies as well Bain, BCG and only I think this incident come otherwise the other consultancies came this time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If the fee is compared with other premium B-School, it really affordable. Here one has to pay around 2 lakh for 2 years. If I compare with the other IIMs, they pay around 22 lakhs, 24 lakhs, 18 lakhs. There are scholarships opportunities also. DU has some scholarships opportunities for its students.
Campus Life
This is the thing I didn't like this time the whole thing is online due to covid. And it becomes really difficult to network with people because so many people come from different parts of India, the different experiences. So, we can learn a lot from them. And because of the whole online thing, pear to pear is limited this time and also we can't meet our seniors.
Hostel Facilities
No, I've not taken the hostel facility. The students really live nearby PGs or some rooms.
Admission
The result was just out in January and then the shortlist have out. I was waiting for the admission process but nothing of that's sort happened. Finally, it was decided based on the CAT score and 10 and 12 marks. There was no GD and Interview process.
