Remarks

I was aware about the teaching as some of my close ones were already in the college.There is one problem about it which is campus, you wont get a fancy and huge campus or grounds.Various sites provide a old information i wont suggest that, if possible try visiting the college personally and check out.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is the basic one which is backed by science and one of the core stream but the craze is decreasing as the world looks upon to the integration with other courses and mostly IT.The teaching was good through out the course and experience of the faculty in the domain was very useful even for extracurricular activities.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have opted for the intership at eleation it was unpaid.The project was purely technical based where you learn analysis of vehicles in actual scenarios.The intership started with the training followed with the short project submission.The training was informative starting from basics to the industry level application.

Placement Experience

There are few placement opportunities in the core field like mechanical and civil but a generous amount of placement for IT and CS. From semester 5 students can apply for the placements of their choice.Companies like accenture, Capgemini,TCS take their chance.There are various pool campus arranged where you can try your luck.As you engineering is the field with lot of creative people they opt various other job profiles as per their level of interest

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is less chances of scholarship from the college but there various other scholarships you can apply privately as per your grades.The situation is pretty worse when comes to placement in the core field whereas there are few good placement offers in the IT and CS domain.

Campus Life

The campus life depends upon the friends that you make and same goes here as well speaking of infrastructure as mentioned above it is a matter of worry.The college host activities and has various clubs that contribute towards it.Library is quite decent with a generous amount of books

Admission

No,there was no gd or personal interview as such.The admission was aolely based on merit cutoff.The college follows the cet cutoff as per the cap placement.The rounds are based upon number of seats available.After you land upon a seat for the course you will have a orientation about the college and the further admission process.

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard....Read More
