Remarks
I think it is a good college because there is a major focus on academics & research. The covid-19 pandemic was going on. I think the director of IIM Udaipur was one I can believe in other than this I heard that the culture of IIM Udaipur like sort of open just compared to others and all the senior friends also advised me to join IIM Udaipur.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 3 terms in each year and around 6-8 subjects per term. The faculties are experts. They are well experienced in teaching in various colleges. There will be one senior faculty for each subject. You are allowed to contact them any time other than a regular class. Subjects are designed based on to start with some basic subjects and then several other specialized courses are included in the curriculum. We have also some additional subjects like Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, etc.
Placement Experience
As per last year's final placement report, the average placement was around 14 lakhs. There are few students got like Amazon, Flipkart. There are many companies from E-commerce. You can find more details about the placement report on the website.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is around 17-18 lakh for the complete course which includes hostel, mess, and other expenses. There are few scholarships is avail for those students whose family income is below 4.5 lakh.
Campus Life
There are several committees like placement preparation committees, cultural committee, media, and industry interaction cell. Other than these there are many functional clubs like operation club, consulting club. There are also many groups like CreArt, Puppets, Public Policy Group. There are at least 3-4 major festivals are carries every year.
Hostel Facilities
We have separate rooms for each of us. We are given all the required things like a table, chair, cupboard and all. Every day, the hospitality staff come and clean the rooms. Washrooms are extremely clean. If you have any problem with the food, you can just send the request to the mess committee and they will take care of it. The food is good.
Admission
This is my second attempt at CAT. In both years I appeared several exams like MAH, IIFT, CAT, and Maharashtra State CET. This year the CAT procedure was like you have to give a 3-hour exam. Then appear for the written test and interviews based on calls you get which were decided to your CAT score.You have to register around October and the exam will be held in November. And the result will be declared in the 1st week of January. Then you get calls from various colleges. I got 7 calls. I faced several interviews. The final result for college selection was out around May. Due to covid-19, some interviews were postponed, many were held online.I didn't attend any GD. My WAT topic was there was some report by world economic program that declared India as the worst country for women to live in. You have to comment on it if you agree or disagree and in one interview I was asked to speak on Bullet Train. I started with the introduction like I express my opinion on it. Basically, my point behind all this was to show that it is not important if we agree with the topic or not, it is more important that is India is not really a good country. For the CAP interview, there were 2 people in my panel.
