"IIM Udaipur" Review

The average package is 12 LPA and it is one of the major deciding factors for me to choose IIM Udaipur.

The 1st year is divided into 3 terms. Term 1, Term 2, Term 3, where there are multiple subjects like finance, marketing, microeconomics, macroeconomics. So, these were the courses that were taught to us in the 1st and 2nd term. In the 3rd term, we are being taught subjects that are related to human research management, marketing & finance.The faculties are very well qualified. Faculties teach very well. Because of the online medium, there was a bit of a communication gap between students & faculty. But in general, the faculties are very well & have a lot of research public essence as well. IIM Udaipur is known for its faculty and its teaching methods. So, in that way, it is one of the best Institutes.

The final placement & summer placement in any IIMs there are some of the best in the country. The average package is around 12LPA in the last year. And there are companies from a different domain like the domain of marketing, finance, consulting, HR domain as well. So, there is diversity. There is a good share of all of the domains coming to the campus.The summer placements are also really good. And a lot of companies offer roles in different domains. The average stipend for 2 months is around 60000 last year. Even this year the placements are going really well and the placement committee played a very crucial role in bringing companies to the college. They facilitate the whole process and made the journey smoother for a person to get placed in an organization.

I haven't gone to campus yet. But in general, as I heard from seniors IIM Udaipur campus is one of the nicest campuses in the country. It is in the state of Rajasthan, the city of Udaipur and the culture is reflected in the campus. There are a lot of clubs and committees and lots of fest conducted in IIM Udaipur. That is an advantage as well. So, with respect to that the campus life and the culture of its campus it is very good.

I'm not sure about the hostel life. But I heard from our seniors that it's a double sharing room and the rooms are really clean and the mess food is also really great. So, with my limited knowledge that is what I can tell.

For getting into IIM Udaipur, the first thing is to write the CAT examination. The CAT examination was in the month of November and the result was declared in the month of January. we received the shortlist for the CAT common admission process in the last week of January and we attended the interviews in February. The result was declared in the month of May due to the Corona Virus. After the result was declared, we had to pay the token amount, and then we got into IIM Udaipur.My WAT topic was something related to each of doing business ranking of India. We are asked to write about 300 words about that topic in 20 minutes. And my interview topic was very general. They asked me about myself & why I choose to do an MBA and some of the stuff related to my work experience and something about current affairs.
