Review of Lovely professional university

The admission process was simple. Lpunest exam was mandatory. and scholarship was provided on 10th, 12th, jee mains, jee advance and lpunest basis. I received a 35% scholarship based on lpunest exam. There are 4 phases to take admission and most scholarship is provided in the first phase and decreases in the consequent phases.

Faculty members are very friendly and cooperative. The faculty is well qualified. The majority of faculty members are PhD qualified and are doing some research. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry ready. Semesters are easy and nearly 92% of students are passed. Even if a student fails he is given 3 chances to pass it again.

Many companies offer internship both paid and unpaid internships. Companies like Microsoft, amazon offer internships. The main objective of the internship is to make students industry ready and to give them some experience.

Placements are very good for studies students. Around 500 companies visit per year but the majority includes mass recruiters like cognizant, TCS, Wipro etc. companies like apple, google, Microsoft also visit. The Highest package was around 32 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. 70% of students get placed.

Fees are increased this year by 20000. Now the fees for BTech CSE is 120000 per semester. Scholarship up to 50% is provided to the students on the basis of lpunest, 10th percentage,12th percentage and jee exam. Part-time jobs are available on the campus.

Youthwibe is the name of the annual fest. Many other events are organised from time to time. The library is huge and nearly all needed books are available. The sports culture is huge in lpu as many Olympians who won medals for India are from lpu. Many grounds and sports facilities are available.

The hostel is average but if you can own an apartment within the hostel then lpu is the right place. Mess meals are of average quality. Hostels are not so affordable and the price keeps increasing every year.
