Entrance Preview

AIEEE, got all india rank 24000 and state rank 400 , and I took electrical department , as i did not get good course in nit trichy and hence opted for good course outside and this was my 5th option during the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course structure is very old and has not changed much , the practicals were also old and do not see any changes . And even the question papers in the exam are pretty much repeated (you can 70% if you can study all the previous 5 year question papers). It has huge scope for improvement.

Internships Opportunities

Internship not facilitated by college . Students on their interest should only search for it. No stipend at all for B.tech. But for M.tech this facility is available.

Placement Experience

4

Placement opportunities are good and placement representative s are competant enough. If you get more than 7 cgpa then 95 % chance of getting job. Those who are below can also get job. but opportunities are that high , but decent enough if the interview goes well.

College Events

4.5

Technical festives are on an average 4 per year. Cultural events are on an average 2 per year. Management festivals are none. These events are pretty popular and outsiders are also competing along with the internals. no politics. best guys always wins it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is decent semester fees 20000/year . Mess fees around 25000 per year. No other extra fees they collected some building fees but which they duly returned when we left the college. So overall fee structure is affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far i know for b.tech i am unaware of any scholarship or loan facilities . Even for M.tech i do not see any loans available. But for people who cannot pay fees in time and if its geniune they dont charge late fees for them.

Exam Structure

Exam structure are decent. we get 10 days of leaves before semester exam starts . And 2-5 days leaves in between for each of the exams. Overall its chilled out. Internal exams are also well spread and its most easier to score in the first internal as curriculum grows on the subsequent ones.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am very fond of computers and mobile devices since my childhood and want to learn the work behind these smart gadgets. Overall faculty students ratio is good it is approximately 1:40. Most of the teachers are M.tech qualified from prestigious universities like Jamia and Aligarh and some PhD holders as well. As far as teaching is concerned, the overall methodology is good and don't expect some game changing scenarios. Most of the time, term exams happen in timely manner. Due to covid there was some sort of irregularities but now it is all good right now. Passing exams is not that much challenging if you have basic understanding of concepts and ability to apply them. Most of questions comes from previous year papers.
