Magic Of LSR

Currently, i am studying at Lady Shri Ram College For Women, Delhi University, The purpose behind choosing the college was, of course, its academic structure and environment, I chose many colleges as my preference but the reason for not choosing those colleges were many such as their high fees structure. Though i had an interest in teaching so i thought of pursuing the course Bachelor Of Elementary Education or generally known as B.El.Ed. in LSR. I did not apply for any quota in LSR. There was cut off for the B.El.Ed. course and the list were updated where the name of the students who were selected was mentioned in the list.

According to my, the course curriculum is really good. It includes subjects such as political science, maths, contemporary india and various subjects which vary according to the year. Like in First-Year you explore various subjects including Science also whereas in second year the students will study different subjects in my course which is Bachelor Of Elementary Education. I believe that Faculty is good in terms of coordination, the teachers are very cooperative. Teachers are always ready to help you and clear your doubts. Since in online mode, the exams were not held but the evaluation was conducted on the basis of assignments.

There are many private schools that come for placements. Since the course in which i am enrolled is Bachelor Of Elementary Education which is teaching course so the roled that schools offer is of a teacher. Students can also apply for the companies also as a content writer or the post depending upon the requirement of the company as well as depening upon the interest of students,

The students are eligible form fourth year for the placements. There are private schools that come for placements in the college. It depends upon the hardwork and interests of the students where they want to. I have not decided my plans after doing the course B.El.Ed. Some students do not wish to sit in the placements since they want to study further and persue courses such as M.Ed. and B.Ed.

Since the fees of the course is 19530 for one year. I did not applied for any kind of scholarhsip. According to me the placements are quite good. In my course, the private schools come for placements in the campus.

There are many fests that are held in the campus such as Dance Festivals are being organised. There is a library in the LSR campus. There are various socities such as Dance Society known as DanceSoc, for those who are interested in debates, for them there is EngDeb Soc, there are many open socities too such as LSR MUN Society. For sports, the college includes NSO known as National Sports Organisation.
