Remarks

I applied for the top IP colleges like USICT and Maharaja agarsen institute of technology but couldn't get admission on them. Being a general category student has some bane.I have got 94.7 percentile in the jee mains and the admission criteria were based on this percentile score only . For CS/IT branches the cutoff was high while for other branches cutoff was low. I got admission to Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering and then attended the counseling day in which they tell about their college, societies, opportunities, training and placement, and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I choose this course because just like everyone when you pass your 12th with science you have to options-either go for btech or go for medical. I go for both but got selected for btech only. Faculty are quite more with faculties for each subject in particular. And the faculty even is quite knowledgeable graduated from reputed universities . Exams are always timely with mid-term exams after 1.5 months and end semester exams at the end of the semester.

Placement Experience

2

After 3rd year completion, one could be eligible for campus placement. Companies like Samsung, Tcs, Wipro come to our college for placement . Placement percentage is quitr good around 80-85% but only a few or say 2-3 get a handsome package from the on-campus placements. Highest package is 12Lpa while the average package is just 3.1 Lpa .So on campus placement is not that satisfactory. My plan is to cherish and polish my skills and go for off campus placement in big companies with decent packages .

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fees I would say that its not worth it according to my opinion as there are so many facilities for research and development in any field and labs are fancy or well equipped here. I didn't get any job or scholarship or financial assistance because i belong to general category.I am currently pursuing 3rd year so i have no job right now

Campus Life

4

The annual fest is conducted in the Jan month in which a few famous artists have a concert while the tech fest is conducted around October. Both of them are neither quite bad nor quite good. Books are available of every subject and maintained quite well Sports are allowed after college timings that is after 4 pm after which many students have to go home so sports is not that much taken into consideration here. There are many social groups or clubs in my college be it Tech (like BVPCSI, IEEE) or cultural societies (ZAAHIR,(drama)AURA (dance), AGAAZ(music). Even I was a part of dramatics society (ZAAHIR) and learned a lot there.

Other Applied Colleges

Maharaja agrasen institute of technology | B.Tech

I didn't opt it because it was too far from my location

Your placement season start from end of 3rd year companies will start coming for recruitment at the start of 4th year . Day 0 companies are sprinklr and google which after companies will coming till December and after that frequency of companies will be reduced . Companies who pay more will shortlist you on the basis of CGPA and CV shortlisting after that you will have to give online assessment test for the particular company and there are 2-3 Rounds of interview . Yeah talking about offcampus opportunities you alumni will help you a lot for referrals and all.

The College provides placements and has a dedicated Placement Cell and each year people graduate with low to high pay packages. The students become eligible for placements from the 6th Semester. There are various companies that visit our campus and 5 such companies are: Accenture, ZS Associates, Infosys, ION Group, RTDS. The highest package on-campus is provided by ION Group of 17 lpa. The average package is 4 to 5 lpa. There are 80% to 90% students placed every year. I am also planning of getting a job after the degree and currently sitting for placements in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing a B.Tech in Computer Science stems from a strong interest in technology. The coursd curriculam is appealing due to its well-rounded structure, covering a wide range of computer science topics like Artificial Intelligence. The flexibility to choose elective courses aligns with personal interests. The faculty, recruited through a rigorous process, is well-qualified. They use various teaching methods, including lectures and practical activities. While the faculty-to-student ratio is good, seeking feedback from students can provide insights into teaching styles. Exams occur every 2.5 months, balancing mid and end-semester assessments. The weightage distribution between exams and internal assessments is favorable, allowing a holistic evaluation. The exams are described as moderately difficult, striking a balance for student success.

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree
