Nice learning experience

KIITEE exam, Score - 90 It is one of the most prestigious college in India and the best one in Odisha excluding IIT and NIT Odisha.

The course curriculum was generic as is being studied in all colleges. Subjects are very much in sync according to the current industry standards. Overall i can say that the course curriculum was average and there needs to be some changes in subjects .

Yes it does provide internship. During my study tenure for IT and computer science students many students did get internship during there final year projects . And recently many other companies are offering internship for final year students.

With regard to placement and job opportunities i can proudly say that KIIT provides one of the best placements among all universities. There are many companies including excellent core companies for CS, EEE , Mechanical and civil student. KIIT makes sure even if you are an average student to give you ample of opportunity for placement.

There are many events celebration. Annual college tech fest is celebrated with spans over a 3 day period. In which there are multiple events and students from other universities come to participate as well. Apart from this there are other sport events like cricket, football, etc.

No as i said earlier it is a college for students whose family can really afford to send. There are no scholarships offered for general students while other quota students are entitled to a minimum scholarship.

Campus is very beautiful and huge with students from diverse background. You will meet people from various places and outside campus also there are good places to hang out or chill out with friends. There are also a gymnasium, volleyball court, football and cricket ground and it various other things to do.

Yes, there are regular alumni meet arranged by college yearly in various cities and all are invited which helps in building network and staying in touch with college faculty and other students.

Exam Structure is good with a mix of practical as well as the theory. Even the questions asked in exam are mixed with all level of questions. Though marking is a bit lenient compared to other government colleges or under state board. Overall it keep you occupied as well as chilled out and provides a proper mix for a students growth.

I had given the KIITEE exam and after the score was published i made my cut in 2nd counselling. I was very much interested in Information Technology course and the same was available so we paid the admission fees and booked my seat. Admission process was also very smooth without any unnecessary delay the staff in the administration office were helpful throughout my admission process.

The faculties were very good with excellent knowledge and were always ready to help students. But during my course of study there were some departments were faculties even though being very good didn't show much interest in teaching students . It was other way around if a students shows interest then only faculties tend to help them.
