Remarks

The admission process is very simple. You just have to fill DU registration form and then you have to apply for the college according to your Percentage and Cutoff. get your documents verified by college and you are done. No, I didn't avail for any quota The admission criteria is based on the Cutoff of every college in DU The admission process was very much simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Com is one of the finest courses that DU provides and I choose this course because it is very much similar to my CA course. hence not putting an extra burden on me. The Student teacher ratio is around 40:1. The college faculty is very well qualified and have adequate knowledge as well as experience. Their teaching method is very much understandable. The exams occur every 2 times a year that means 1 year is divided into 2 semesters and the whole course has 6 semesters.

Internships Opportunities

The internships in various fields like Business development, HR, Audit, Accounting, Coding, marketing, UI/UX development are provided to students The placement cell of the college organises an annual job and internship fair to give opportunities to students.

Placement Experience

The college has its own placement cell which provides job and internship opportunities to students. Students of final year are eligible for placements while others are eligible for internships. The average package of our college is around 5 lakhs Around 60% of students get placements will complete their CA after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is easy and there is minimal fees in DU. There is no as such fee hike policy in our College. the cost is very much cheaper as compared to other private colleges. The Financial Assistance is provided to reserved category students and even in the covid times fees of many students has been reduced or canceled.

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest is organized in March. The campus annual fest is one of the most awaited fests in the college. The library is fully equipped with journals, research papers, books, readings etc. The classrooms are fully equipped with the latest technology like a whiteboard, projector. The college has a good record in sports, College has its own coach and football and Hockey team. There are a lot of clubs societies in our college.

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. I applied to almost all colleges offering the course that i have chosen, i got confirmed admissions in majority of them, however I chose this college because of it's location, unique exposure and the faculty. However, some of the colleges I applied to rejected me too, as this course is highly competitive and very few colleges offer this course, I acknowledge that I am not the best and hence I lost my spot in those colleges. Interest in Business and Economics and getting a DU Degree is the only reason to go here in 2025.

There are only 10 colleges offering BBE in Delhi University. So, therefore, the course is high in demand. It is a professional course so the college is still in the process of adapting to a professional setting. I applied for all other colleges offering BBE in DU, and got admitted here via the Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). My preference was to go to Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce to pursue this same course, but the cutoff for the same is very high.
