Remarks

I went to college asked about the course, fees and everything then I came back home to discuss with my family Then next day I had filled the form. After that, a letter came to my home from college it tells about the procedure in which I have to submit three sketches, 1 video about my self introduction and why Amity. And I have to submit affidavits then I had completed all the tasks after someday my acceptance letter came and I had been admitted to Amity University Lucknow.

The course is good. Faculty are very coordinative and co-operative the way of teaching and explaining is very understandable and easy and every faculty is well qualified to be a great teacher. I had chosen this course because of my passion for fashion. We are having semester exams and 3-4 monthly tests it's not that tough to fail but not so easy to clear the exams.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 136000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

According to me fees are okay from the standard of the college but like the example, we have 8 semesters in every semester fees will be increment by 5% which will be eg first semester 68000 next semester 69500 then 72000 etc like this. For submission of the fees, the college gives at least 15-1 months. Amity provides 100% of placements.

Campus Life

We have amiphoria in which we learnt so many things we have competition and many more activities most probably it is conducted in February or at last of January. We have an amazing library in that we got so many varieties of books in different aspects the atmosphere of the library is also amazing. Digital Classroom with fully air conditioner. We have sports day too competition between different departments and that is so exciting. Amity University Lucknow page on Instagram. Clubs are so many I can't name any because I haven't remembered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cuz the curriculum includea almost everything. Nothing could ever prepare someone for real world applications until unless you step out in the real world itself. The rush before the exams. I wish the teachers would manage it better. The first semester was horrible due to this. The end term exams start almost after a month of mid terms which makes the semester end exam quite difficult.

Amity is not as bad as you might think.

Placement Experience:

From the third year you're eligible for campus placement. The placement is not that great as of now since asft is pretty new and they're still fetching companies but there are options. The campus placement advisors are pretty great and helpful. And even if you don't find campus placement, there are a lot of openings now for the same since fashion designing has become pretty popular since the last few years

Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in footwear design and then lifestyle goods so I opted for leather design. 8 teachers: 29 students in the leather department and 1 lab assignment and also taught by industrial designers. Good quality of education with an upgraded method which is very much practical with the trend. in 6 months I.e in 1 semester = midterm(30) + end term (30) + final jury exam (40). It is a continuous evaluation of a project in which one should present everything in the final jury exam.

I didn't really apply to a lot of colleges, due to some family reasons I was not able to move out of Lucknow.
