The Best Placement College In All Over Mumbai DG Ruparel.

To take admission in B.Sc ( Computer Science ) after completing my 12th boards exam by clearing it with distinction. I applied at the Elphinstone College. Fees was fine 24500 for first academic year and then after it would fluctuate. But as per people saying as the teaching quality is not so good there. I choose to change my mind and look for other colleges. Then I went Kishinchand Chellaram College popularly know as KC College It is one of the mumbai best college. And I filled up the admission form also for it but unfortunately my name didn't came in the merit list. Fees were reasonable. Then I went to the Jai Hind College It is also the best college in mumbai after KC College its name come and everyone is aware of it. It is located beside marine lines and you can see the sea view from the college. But the college was near to my house so I decided to leave it. And after that I went to St.Xavier's College but there only in-house students can take admission. Finally I Joined DG Ruparel.

During my junior college time I was not aware of future education which field I have to go further in, which exams do I have give, and lots of things I didn't know at that time and as study goes on I also get into that flow. After passing out from there my marks was very less to do engineering in a good bifocal subjects like computer science and information technology. I tried my best to join those engineering colleges but rejected from all as I did not gave any external exams like JEE or CET during my junior college time. Then I decided to take admission in Bsc ( Information Technology ) to continue my studies as my friends were also taking admission in it. And In this process I choose this course. Luckily I get into something nice than others. My college has lots of department like IT,CS,Arts, Chemistry And More. Nearly 70 students were in my batch. To complete graduation a period of 3 years is there for this course. Techers are talented and sharp. 2 sem exam are conducted each year.

For Internships our college received most recognizable companies like L&T, Mphasis, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware Technologies and more. And they were providing a stipend of 12,000 per month for a period of 8 months during our final year time to earn money while studying. The work was to handle their ongoing projects, work as a data entries, and even as a developer. Many of our batch students got placed in it. These companies offers a letter to the students to apply for permanent job of what they are doing now and their post will increment after completion of their internships and they will be provided with a increased salary and it was 25,000 per month. If any students fails to comply with the work assigned to them during internship then those students were not given any letter to join as a permanent job member in this company. But companies came there after graduation and recruited them for a permanent job. So, there is no worry and tense about placements in this college.

During last year/final year internships are organized by companies in our college like TCS, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Wipro Limited, Redington LTD, and more. These Internships are of a period of 8 months and only brilliant and focused students are recruited. These companies also check the past educations level and their percentages, 10th and 12th percentage is very important to be placed in them as a intern. They offered a salary of 12,000 per month to work as a web developer, project handler, call centre, and data entry. Companes also come after completion of graduation and they were TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Oracle, Accenture and more. Capgemini was offering the highest salary package with 8-9 LPA. And In that 10 students of class got placed. The lower salary was offered by TCS which was 4-5 LPA. And I was also placed in this TCS Company as a project handler. Nearly 80-85% of students gets placed in these companies after completing graduation and others join their family businesses.

I took admission from open category and paid a fee of 24500 for the first academic year. There were concession of fees to reserved category students of SC/ST and their fees was very less than mine. I applied to scholarship scheme as per my teachers advice by registering on the MAHADBT website which is run by indian government portal and the scheme name was ( Freeship ). I registered on it and submitted my full documents in college and as well as on the website and after that it got approved and I received 2049 rs every year for my tution fees. It was less it is better than getting nothing. Teachers are very kind when it comes to financial assistance they help alot and we can pay our one academic fees in 2 installments. And if we pay fees late then the college would ask us why it is late and reasons behind it. I got placed in TCS company after completing my graduation and my salary was 3.5-4 LPA. There were companies coming in middle of last year of internships and many got placed also.

College building is nicely structured it looks like a church from outside but from inside it is vast. The college celebrates its inter-collegiate festival that is 'Kshitij'. It is ranked in the best college's fest lists. Each and every student work very hard to make this fest enjoyable to everyone. Students from different college's come here to enjoy the fest from long distances. Library is big enough to study in silence and with full focus and we have a large play ground where football matches are played and every year tournaments are held in-between different college's. Classrooms are also big we have the biggest campus in entire mumbai college's. Our college has our own website and app where updates are given about lectures, fest, holidays and other activities. And this website and app are runned by our computer science students, we do not hired any professionals. Farewell party is also organized in college owned club Dynamic Drillers which is located beside of the college building.
