Remarks

I applied for maharaja according to my rank in the CET exam but I did not qualify for that and previously I got BPIT but I did not want that because of its less ranking, therefore, I went till the last round and I was lucky enough to get BVCOE. the minimum cutoff was 4000 till the last round and the more the rank less the chances to get a good college. For admission, we needed to come for 2 days consecutively, first for data submitting and other for submitting fees, though it could be done online also. The counselling process was quite an easy and wonderful experience, many teachers were sitting and asking for details guiding us about the college, its resources, its quality and future benefits it did fulfil fill all but overall college is a good experience as.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose Cse because i was good at CS in school . I had an interest in it although I wanted to do maths honours due to peer pressure I selected it and most of the population in India has selected btech of mbbs due to peer pressure. Some Faculty are wonderful but some are always agitated. We have 60 students in each department bifurcated further as morning and evening branches. Almost every faculty is MTech and there are about 10 faculty who are PhD holders, very knowledgeable. but in college, I feel more the teacher is qualified less the teaching method suits us. otherwise in BVCOE studies are taken very seriously. Exams are held every 2 months divided into internal and external exams. they are easy to pass as passing marks are 33 and people are good enough to get more than that.

Internships Opportunities

3

For internship, the best companies visited is adobe and IHS with a stipend of 20k-25k per month they came for software trainee. Since I did not qualify any so I am unaware of the tasks. But I have some knowledge about the roles. Software trainee (web development)- to work on their websites. Graphic Designers.

Placement Experience

4

From the 7th semester, we start sitting in placements. Companies visited this year till now, Yamaha -8lpa, Infosys-5lpa, Unthinkable-5 LPA, Nagaro - 6 and 8 LPA, EY- 4.37 LPA, ZS 8.5lpa, The highest till now is Zs and the average is 4 lacs. The minimum percentage is as per company requirements but avg should be above 70 with no pending backlogs. Around 14 students from a class of 60 are placed. For my plans, I would like to go for MBA if I did not get a good placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is about 5 to 6 lacs for four years. There are policies for girls and EWS people but qualify none, and in the covid times, our college has taken the wonderful initiative to provide financial help to people who suffered from the pandemic and who are financially week so it is wonderful to be part of college who think in this side also. And jobs we are getting in placements are of about 5 to 6 lacs on average, many companies are providing 4 lacs with some 6 lacs and even 8 lacs also.

Campus Life

3.5

BVCOE does not host any kind of fest, at least not in the last 3 years but BVICAM hosted 2 years back in October. We have libraries and the issue of books is an easy process although we need to submit a fine for late submissions. classes have AC, in fact, the whole campus has ACs .in sports we have many games like football basketball and we have separate grounds for those and for dance we dont have special rooms or places we have ZAHIR acting society all are quite famous in Delhi campuses. We have much society like ISTE, enacts, IEEE, aura dance, zahir acting, Sahitya writing, Dsc and many more.

Placement Experience:

The College provides placements and has a dedicated Placement Cell and each year people graduate with low to high pay packages. The students become eligible for placements from the 6th Semester. There are various companies that visit our campus and 5 such companies are: Accenture, ZS Associates, Infosys, ION Group, RTDS. The highest package on-campus is provided by ION Group of 17 lpa. The average package is 4 to 5 lpa. There are 80% to 90% students placed every year. I am also planning of getting a job after the degree and currently sitting for placements in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing a B.Tech in Computer Science stems from a strong interest in technology. The coursd curriculam is appealing due to its well-rounded structure, covering a wide range of computer science topics like Artificial Intelligence. The flexibility to choose elective courses aligns with personal interests. The faculty, recruited through a rigorous process, is well-qualified. They use various teaching methods, including lectures and practical activities. While the faculty-to-student ratio is good, seeking feedback from students can provide insights into teaching styles. Exams occur every 2.5 months, balancing mid and end-semester assessments. The weightage distribution between exams and internal assessments is favorable, allowing a holistic evaluation. The exams are described as moderately difficult, striking a balance for student success.

Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree
