Entrance Preview

CET, conducted by govt of Karnataka. Secured 958th rank in the state. Opted for electronics and communication here because of the track records of this college. First college of Karnataka to start bachelor degree in ECE.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well, It was under visweswaraya technological university that time. Now it is autonomous. Course structure is very good. Up to date to the changing technology world. The course includes trending subjects. But I feel that still more importance is to be given to practical experience, labs and project works.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Provides internships at various companies located mainly in Bangalore. Philips, Intel, Nokia, TVS, Delphi are to name a few.

Placement Experience

It had two job policy. Companies are grouped as core, dream, mass and open dream companies deepening on company profiles. College tries to give off campus placement opportunities too. The salary package will be good. Most of the talented students will be happy and feel great after placements.

College Events

Each department celebrates department festival. Jaciana is the college festival and it has a great brand value. IEEE, CSE, LCC conduct many technical festivals. Shabd is the literary festival of the college conducted by the college annual magazine editorial board.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had paid 17 k-18 k per year. Even the management quota fee are very nominal. Most the departments have government quota. The fees might have increased in recent years but still it is worth investing in here. The placement if the student is guaranteed if he/she maintains the required minimum average.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides many scholarships for poor and meritorious students. Various scholarships have been offered by alumnus, various organisations.

Exam Structure

College was following VTU (university) exams. It followed percentage systems for grading. Now the college is autonomous and it follows cgpa system. Project, seminars, industry internship, presentations, all are counted. The evaluation process was complicated(of the university). Many people had complained about poor irresponsible quality of evaluation of papers.

VTU Belagavi college review

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students are eligible for placement and for intership even 3rd and 4th sem students are eligible to apply if they are well skilled. Recently JP Morgan visited in our college for summer internship no students got selected due to low skill,l. I our college the highest package was 34LPA in 2023 and average package was 7LPA. Almost 70-75% students got placed in their 8th sem. My plan after getting the degree I want build an startup.

Placements for all branches are available..Even for ECE department coding is thought..A really good percentage of students have been placed with good packages previous years..Some of the companies that visit are Infosys, JP Morgan, TCS, and startups.. MIT Bengaluru-The College Beyond Exxpectations

Placement Experience:

Students here are eligible for placements or internships right after the 3rd year. Mit Bengaluru is planning to make its students placement merging with its parent clg Mit Manipal. Currently none of the placement record is there as the first batch is in 3rd year only.None of the companies have visited for placement b ut companies like IBM, TCS do come for their talks. I have no plans as of now what will I do after a degree.

Electronics and Instrumentation branch is truly underrated!

The admission process to this branch will be based on KCET only. Eligibility is 12th pass in science stream and should a Karnataka student to write kcet.
